Consistency is better than inconsistency, i lost 70 dollars on zab for the very reasons i knew hed lose it. The moment cotto was able to assert himself to the body, Judah simply postured and stood around waiting for an opening. Judah early on was leaning to his left waitng to throw a big straight left, and it was there all night, but Judah cant take and give at the same time, he always buckles when hes being pressured and his mental makeup isnt made to come from behind. I aint too dissapointed in him, he did what i knew he would, past 4 rounds and he would lose. Either way this is the second time ive lost money betting against Cotto so i think ill just leave him alone, he has proven to me that he is a consistent A class fighter and unless you yourself are ready to take some punishment, even if i think he is boring, he is someone i greatly respect now and he is definately going to give anyone a hard fight.

cottos just more complete of a fighter.. it seems to me the more complete fighter always wins almost
are u on crack
did u miss the 3 low blows?
the most devastating low blows in boxing history lol
he str8 upper cutted him 2 the ball sack
that will slow n e 1 down
i think it was his stratgy 2 do so
which isnt a bad one because everyone here knows judahs boxin skill is far greater then cottos
just watch the 1st round his speed and movement had cotto lookin half retarted which i belive he is ..n how can u say he has no heat balls or courage ?
hes a nut thats about all he has lol
if they had a rematch id bet on judah as long as he aint get low blowed again
cotto needs 2 fight outta the garden
he better not low blow mosley cuz im gonna be there n ill attack that ***** lol
It was a dirty win for Cotto, there cannot be any doubt about that.
Hopefully Miguel can change his ways and fight clean against Mosely.
Young people look up to him.. He needs to set the right example. :lol1:

Cotto just beat up Judah, but lets not forget Cotto was ROCKED badly in the opening round. and probably at other times.
whats your view on Cotto vs Hatton?
Cotto vs Hatton, That would definately be one for the ages. I know alot of folks only see Hatton huggin up, ain't saying it's ok, but I see it does wear down his opponent by putting his weight on him. But trying to tie up Cotto...hmmm, bad idea against the best short puncher in the game.
1) Hatton gotta come back up to 147, doubt Cotto will drop back to 140
2) Team Cotto/Bob Arum have to plans to go to England
somehow I don't see this one happening right now. After Hatton fights Castillo next month, we will all have a better idea.
Long time since I have been in here...
Totally unbiased, I can't stand Zab & have never really been a Cotto fan.
1) Why Zab didnt throw more uppercuts & generally let his hands go early is beyond me. He had the potential to stop Cotto before Cotto's body work started to tell.
2) Cotto's 2nd low blow was deliberate
3) Zab will suffer terrible stoppages as his reflexes start to go
4) Cotto is a good fighter but still plodding & predictable.
5) Much as I hate to say it, because I can't stand Floyd Mayweather... but Cotto wouldn't win any 10 second period against Floyd.
Correct on all counts mate.
My take on Cotto / Judah

I do not see a rematch happening, at least not right away. Cotto has a contract to fight the winner of Margarito - Williams. That fight will probably be in Nov/Dec timeframe so that both fighters (Miguel and the winner) have time to heal and take a vacation before training again). After that, Miguel will probably take a fight in March and then Floyd (if he accepts) in June on the eve of the parade again.
Possible fights for March will include people he won't have much of a chance to lose to so that the PBF fight will be on. If the fight is not signed yet, look for Cotto to try to get a tough fight. Forget Mosley as he's with GBP and they don't deal with Arum.
Here's my short list of possible fights for Cotto after Margo/Willaims winner:
Gatti (if he doesn't fight Chavez, Jr. Cotto is more money)
Frederik Klose
Collazo
That's a damn good post! shows you've done your homework. Yeah, and lets not forget about....
Kermit Cintron (IBF Champ)
This is the same guy that got dropped by Ricardo Torres, don't listen to a word he says.
He weighed 16 stone, FFS.
You're joking right?:)
15 stone = 210 lbs
16 stone = 224 lbs
He probably came to the ring about 160.

Nobody really knows the weight. The New York Commission doesnt allow it. Im guessing he gained 10-15 pounds over night. Any more than that and he would be killing himself to make weight, and according to him he doesnt have to anymore.
I like Hatton, I really do. I try to stick up for him along with the Limeys and the few American fans like yourself.
I just dont see him being able to beat Cotto at all. Cotto is naturally so much bigger, and Hatton's face wont be able to withstand the punishment. He will be cut up badly.
Yeah Hatton's left hook to the body will take any human being out if it's landed right and his feet are set right. But that's only a punchers chance, against a monster who will be drawfing him hugely
Cotto accidently hit him low even if it was on purpose it was very early in the fight and Zab had 5 mins to take to recover which he chose not to take the whole 5. The headbutt was accidental just like the butt Cotto received. Cotto showed me he is relentless and will never quit even with a hole in his mouth and a huge gash above his eye. I was so ready to finally give Zudah some respect but after the post fight interview when he gave excuses for losing forget that. Zab is the same sack of shit I thought he was before the fight. He almost fooled me with the beating he took but then he has to open that mouth of his and it's all over. Zab was just outworked and beat down those two low blows may have effected him a little but in no way did they change the outcome of the fight. I see Cotto a very hard fight for Mayweather. Cottos style is never stop hitting and he isn't an old man like Delahoya who will get tired during the late rounds. Mayweather has always had trouble with people that press the action and I think Cotto and Mayweather would be a great fight. Cotto showed me that speed and flashiness aren't what always wins a fight. I doubt Mayweather would be dumb enough to take a fight against Cotto so we will probably never see it happen. I mean have you ever seen Judah get his ass kicked like that ?
Nah, Im one of the orignal Cotto fans. Hell I was a Cotto fan before I was really even into boxing. He does drain himself though. That is going to catch up with him in a couple years I think. Thats why hes so active. Kind of like 'Bank.
Cotto is massive compared to hatton.
But i definetly think Hatton could win. He could knock Cotto out for sure.
It could be a great fight. Hatton has a merderous left hook, and he could definetly take Cotto out with it.
But im not sure anybody could beat the Cotto that fought last night. lol
You dont think that:
"Cotto proved to me that consistency is better than inconsistency" is a foolish thing to say?
That lesson is not one that I'd expect you to have to learn.
If saying i was wrong, and giving respect to a fighter who i thought would lose is wrong, then so be it. Think what you want.
If the lesson was a simple one, you wouldnt have had as many people (including myself) thinking Zab would show up and be the fighter saturday that he was potentially supposed to be since coming out of the olympic trials, so dont sit there and make a sarchastic remark as if im saying something outlandish or foolish.
