I agree....this is going to be one of the dirtiest fights in history but unless castillo ko's hatton which i think will happen...hatton will win by decision if the referee gets involved....i can see the referee deducting many points towards castillo and avoiding everything dirty hatton does....It may be another bs fight ....and the story will continue in why boxinng is hurting...
At least you're keeping a positive outlook.
Hattons Worried! I wonder What kind of training Castillo is doing to avoid Hattons Clinching?
I can see Hatton using some Octopus tactics in later rounds!
Its nice that he does that, it shows he likes the other fighter.
I expect to see grappling out of both Hatton and Castillo, it could be a great fight, or it could be a nasty grueling octopuss fest
this is going to be a factor in this fight, the clinching from hatton in the mid to later rounds.
only thing is, the inside is where castillo does his most effective work, but hatton does well inside to when he throws punches on the inside.
castillo and hatton are both the dirtiest fighters in the sport right now, if you don't like the word dirty then how about ROUGHEST, because these guys love to make it nothing but a pain in the ass for their opponents. castillo's camp has always been a extremely physical group of fighters, all the guys that fight out of castillo's camp fight rough and dirty, it creates openings and distracts you opponent, as well as wears them down. just watch castillo verses julio diaz, you have a decent boxer fighting a world class fighter, castillo does nothing but fight diaz in every aspect of fighting with rules. diaz was trying to box when he realized he was getting mauled and roughed up. it's hard to box a guy that is controlling the fight with his rough house fighting, you can only box so much against a guy making it a rough and dirty fight, if that isnt your game like it was diaz you're going to get beat, and beat from every angle like he did.
hatton does the same thing to a certain extent, i think that hatton grabs more and hold more towards the end of the fight, but he likes to fight rough like castillo.
both guys use their heads, elbows, low blows, hitting on the hip, both hit on the break, hit on the back of the head, castillo loves hitting guys in the ears, i think this fight is going to be nothing but action, fair and foul. and if castillo isn't shot because his last fight he looked like shit, he ought to give hatton a run for his money, pending on his conditioning, but that goes for both...................................
it all depends who is the toughest and better conditioned............
hatto will hopefully win impressively. i would be disapointed because this is quite a big fight and he seems very motivated. i think he wasn't too motivated to train in his last fight, but this is the one he wants to win. he seems a nice guy, and a good character :) i've seen him in interviews and think that he has some decentcy about him. very good boxer although he would be better i feel if he didn't fatten up so much when he aint training, but then you are who you are and nobody would have it any other way :)
I hope Hatton tries to box.He is gonna get torn up by Castillo's under rated jab. This is what sets up Castillo's right and left hook to the body. Hattons best chance is tire Castillo early by wrestling around and not get caught lunging in. Who really thinks Hatton can out box Castillo? I bet not even Mayweather thinks that.
Hmmmm why say worried?
Its called training for the guy you are going to fight.. If that guy is a good body puncher.. you toughen up your body and build your stamina.. This is very fucking basic..
and just good common sense..
Absolutely.

i`ve never really seen any beneft in smashing a medicine ball into your stomach.
Is there any scientific evidence to support this?
If you do recreate the power of a bodyshot on a regular basis in training you would probably be pissing blood pretty soon.
the medicine ball thing cant be that effective can it? cause like how much power is that ball being throwed generating? about 20kg ? castillos body shots will generate alot more power than that
Hatton might be aware of JLC's body attack but that doesn't mean he'll be able to take that kind of punishment all night. JLC is a genuine badass on the inside, something Hatton has never faced in his career. He doesn't let fighters off the hook easily for clinching him. He's going to punish you or at times get dirty & Hatton better be prepared to go through hell to beat him. Look what hell Chico Corrales (RIP) went through for fighting on the inside with him & Hatton doesn't have the fire power that Chico had.
Hatton better win this impressively, his last 2 fights have been instantly forgettable. If you are going to charge people to watch you, you have to entertain
That should be the right outcome..
Hatton is the fresher fighter,Castillo as had some wars, his last fight was'nt brilliant either regardless of the fact he had Hatton on his mind.
It could though go either way and i would'nt be suprised to see Castillo win it
I think it was Geoff that posted a recent interview of Graham and Hatton that talked about this very issue.
Obviously I do a lot of stomach work like sit ups and medicine ball to solid that area but maybe a little bit more with Castillo because I think that's where he's going to sling a few of them in.
