Guys, please watch this vid, its not long, its some of the funniest shit you will see this year, from some asshole called John. D.Villereal, watch out for his idiot brother paul also.
Classic stuff.
wtf, oscar landed better shots? are you blind, stupid or both? floyd buckled your boy twice.
OK, fair enough, he did land a few good shots. But the fact still remains that I have a hard time giving a close round, which I felt that most of the rounds were, to the guy that was running the whole fight. The fact that you can't deny was that Oscar brought the fight and Floyd ran away from it for most of the night.
Floyd landed more punches than Oscar.
ALOT more punches than Oscar.
Not only that, but he landed them at a higher percentage, i.e., his agression was much more effective.
I think maybe you mis-interpreted what I was saying. I was saying that Floyd probably would've wanted to land more punches than he did, so that the rounds would've been more clearly his (and no dispute from DLH fans). It was not a comparison to what Oscar landed at all.
I disagree with your view of ring generalship. I though both guys fought the style that the set out to fight. De La Hoya was pressing and throwing a lot of punches while Floyd was circling and countering. DLH probably would've liked to be more effective and Floyd probably would've liked to land more punches. But because of their styles they both pretty much fought exactly how they wanted. I wouldn't say either of them won in ring generalship.

Call me old fashioned but I watched the fight in normal speed twice, and both times I got the same score, De La Hoya ahead by a round with four questionable rounds that could easily have gone either way and one even. As I have said before a close fight like this could easily have gone the other way or been a draw and it's stupid to claim a robbery.
And for the record while Floyd's punches were cleaner, Oscars were more effective (they caused damage, they backed Mayweather up, they took him out of his rhythm) so with the number one method of scoring a round both fighters cancelled each other out. De La Hoya wins in ring generalship. He fought at his chosen pace. De La Hoya was also clearly the aggressor which counts big. In some rounds it was effective and in some rounds it wasn't, and when it wasn't Mayweather won the round. And the final aspect is defense, which both men displayed to a high degree, De La Hoya by catching Mayweather's punches on his gloves, Floyd by blocking and ducking.
Easily could have been a draw, esily could have been a close win for either fighter, and in my opinion to claim that one guy or the other dominated is seeing things through fandom tinted glasses.
Oscars punches did NO damage at all. His agression was not effective at all, he landed a small percent of his punches compared to Floyd landing almost 50% of his shots. Floyd's defense was great while Oscar was getting consistantly drilled with straight right hands. Floyds punches were also obviously and consistantly, much cleaner.
This fight was not close folks.
Not at all

Floyd won hands down. When it comes to boxing and able to score a fight some got it some don't you my friend don't have it. Oscar was the agressor but wasn't effective so that cancels out your arguement. Floyd landed the cleaner shots and his shots seem to have more of an affect than oscar's
also.
D) stop counting using an abacus
E) Have those fingers youve lost sown back on your hand, it doesnt work if you count with 4 fingers, unless your one of the simpsons.
I forgot about them :biggthump
im TELLING you man watch that fight in slow mo.
youll struggle to give oscar 3 rounds.

Anyone who thinks oscar won should
a) learn how to score a fight
b) get your eyes checked or
c) just stop watching boxing
also.

its simple...floyd landed the cleaner, crisper punches and was twice as accurate(literally)...yea oscar was aggressive but wat was he landing? floyd clearley won...
Because DLH hit him with better shots, Floyd only landed 2 or 3 shots of any significance, DLH had a good defensive round by blocking and slipping most of Floyds punches. If you watched it on HBO you would hear that the commentators gave this round to Oscar.

One thing is certain: if Floyd Mayweather couldn't win a decisive victory over a fighter who is past his prime and hadn't even been active the past few years, then he is obviously overrated. Mayweather is certainly not #1 p4p - in fact, he shouldn't even be considered to be one of the top 10.

I would rank Gayweather somewhere between 7-10 P4P and thats me being generous
Listen bro, i cant be bad to you for your opinion, unless you really dum like that other guy, but i have to be honest.
Because DLH hit him with better shots,:ugh:
Floyd only landed 2 or 3 shots of any significance,
:ugh:
Seriously, mabye im wrong, but i think you should rewatch it in slow mo, i dont need to, cos i can pick up what lands and what doesnt without it, but i cant see 115-113 de la hoya,
To be honest even if you have it 115-113 mayweather, you probably only have 9 fingers instead of 10.
Lol, looked at your sig and saw how you scored the fight,
Round 12 to de la hoya,:ugh: , he got rocked and mayweather won every second of the round until the last exachange,
How did you ever give DLH 6 rounds plus to dlh?
shocking.

did I hit a nerve?
:bottle: :bottle: :bottle:
no, i expect that kind of stupidness from someone with chip-fat for brain matter.
'Tony 628', imaginative name.:ugh:
I blame our National Health Service wating lists myself,
In england some patients have to wait years before they can get their brain transplant
Good luck dude, apparently they found a match for you,
They are gonna fly the monkey brains over from venezuela and then you'll be sorted.
