hagler
hagler by k.o. or ud
hagler is by far the most complete fighter ive watch my personal favorite without a doubt he had it all... imho i really have a thought that he really NEVER lost a fight just from the 30+ figh ive seen of his
Winky has good D, but he still gets hit a decent amount.
I think Winky has great defense for that style of boxing. As opposed to the popular illusive defensive style of Mayweather and Leonard, I've never seen a boxer with such an effective toe-toe defensive appoach. Winky gets hit, yes, but he has proven to be able to take a hit as good as anyone and more often than not the heavy power punches that he gets hit with are partially deflected and slightly buffered reducing the impact and thus the effectiveness of the power punch. He could frustrate Hagler, but I doubt he'd win on points.
Regardless of Wright's boxing prowess, I'm taking Hopkins over Wright come July. But maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part... I'm not sure.
Well thats a pretty stupid thing to say.
Anyone could get stopped, this is boxing.
It's not as stupid as when half the time a Hagler topic comes up, people act like he was some balls to the wall, face-first brawler.
That makes me want to puke.
I think he'd just be afraid to come out of the shell after he felt Haglers power.
Hagler by UD, but nobody stops Winky Wright. Not even Hagler

Winky has the better defense by far (some of the best toe-toe defense I've seen... ever), but Hagler's offensive aggression and activity would be enough to win on points. I don't see a knockout either way.

Not just that,Hagler walked thru Hearns right hand like it was a Paul Malignaggi punch, any other boxers would have been in hospital for a few weeks,it just shows u Haglers chin and agression
and power, power, speed, aggresion, in the beginning what really slowed hearns down a little bit was hagler's body punches, it really took effect
the war with hearns was amazing, hagler was cut and he still went for the KO, he's a beast.

Hagler would be too much down the late rounds,he would eventually TKO him,i do not see Winky winning,he dont set a pace, against Hagler,u gota do something because he was a beast and wouldent stopthe war with hearns was amazing, hagler was cut and he still went for the KO, he's a beast.

Blah Blah. Anyone you put in the last 20 years vs any of the "fantastic four" is going to get the majority agreeing with the latter winning.
Sorry but Winky has a great chance in this fight and I could definitely see him winning a decision.
Hagler by decision.
They're both versatile guys with great jabs who can box from the outside and have the skills to fight at close quarters. Hagler obviously hits harder. Winky is very skilled and well-rounded, but Hagler was probably even more so.
