Are the Mexicans adopting DLH for this one?

You call Quartey,Trinidad,Mosley,B-Hop,Vargas, and now Floyd low risk? You've gotta be fucking kidding me. You have to go back and re-read my post. I said low risk elusive fighting STYLE not FIGHT CHOICE, please people reading for comprehension is very important and is obviously lacking in our school systems. The only stark difference between DLH and other Mexican and Mexican/American fighters is DLH's fighting style. Comare DLH's style to Chavez, Morales, Castillo, JMM, Barrera or even Vargas and you'll see a huge difference in styles while the demeanor and manner in which Morales, Chavez and Barrera and DLH are not all that different. The only real exception was Barrera vs Morales. DLH doesnt have a traditional Mexican fighting style which IMHO has lead to the relatively low appeal to Mexican fans. DLH prefers to win rounds and will take a KO if its there but he is more of a low risk taker in terms of strategy. I.E. Look at Jorge Arce's last fight in which he made it a slightly exciting affair by his shear tenacity and Machismo. Had DLH had the same type of opponent I believe he would've been happy to cruise along and get the decision.

Like George Lopez says, Mexicans think anything that is done correctly is gay. That's just the way we are. We, and I'm speaking for Mexican-Americans view each other as hard working people, regardless of knowing each other. So when we see someone who has made it, we don't see it as " Oh, he probably worked hard to get where he's at ", we see it as " I work just as hard, so how come I don't have that, where's my success." What a lot of us don't understand is that success comes with taking chances and pushing yourself. Far too many times Mexicanos get relaxed and content with where they are. I know sometimes there is no choice for some, as poverty or family gets in the way. Oscar has nothing to be ashamed of, he fought his way out, took his chances, and is walking his way out of the valley of the shadow of death. He's leading the way for Hispanics in the new millenium and setting a fine example, because I feel we're only like one generation from turning this game of life around. A real Mexican does something for his people, and there is none bigger than Oscar. Make us prouder May 5th.

His wife and son are from Puerto Rico and he trained here. If he doesn't walk in the ring with the flag, it would just be one more thing that shows how fake he is, after telling the press here he'd do it and waving the PR flag in front of them.

I was thinking about this and theirs no way he go's in their with a Puerto rican flag on Cinco de Mayo! He knows better then that.
