Arthur Abraham vs Sebastien Demers MAY 26th!

Agreed. Although Gibbs was not chosen by Miranda, it was HBO's choice and it was less than 3 month after the brutal 12 round fight in Germany. But considering the medical questions around Abraham's jaw, I do not have any problem with him testing the jaw against a light puncher. Lucky for Abraham, Miranda's team allowed the 'exception' for Abraham to take another fight before their mandatory rematch. It worked out well for both guys. Abraham gets to test the jaw before he faces the guy who cracked it, and Miranda gets a shot at the WBC mandatory to fight Taylor. Basically that leaves Miranda choices (if he beats Pavlik). I think he would rather fight for Taylor's two belts if he has the opportunity, and than lure Abraham over to the USA for a unification bout. Of course. Assuming his team is not foolish, they will go for the big fish, not the revenge fight. It might also be the case that Taylor is a better style matchup for Miranda. Abraham is a bit of poor-man's Winky, and that's not the best style for MIranda.

After the heroic performance he gave, I doubt anyone can scare him now. He picked a light opponent as he should coming off an injury. Miranda fought Wille Gibbs coming off the Abraham fight, and Arthur deserves one easy one too. If his next opponent is not top calibre, then we start to complain. Agreed. I just wanted to know how he felt about the rematch being in germany? does he feel that the fight should only be in germany? should it only be in america? what? The rematch against Miranda need not be in Germany. Since Miranda is the IBF number 1 and mandatory it will be the purse offer that decides where it will be and if Warriors boxing believe in Miranda's abilities then could just outbid Sauerland and take it to America if they want.

Demers is just a warm up (well I hope they consider it that way at least) and I'd say Abraham deserves it. Let's see who he fights next.........I doubt that it will be Abraham as the germans will try and keep things on their own turf...They'll probably try and match him with Sturm. oh shit! I like that. 1st match abraham should take after this is with sturm. if he beats sturm, he'll have 2 titles. miranda can get a rematch with abe anytime he wants. So if miranda beats pavlik and fights taylor and beats him. we can have a true unification fight!!!!!!!!!!!
