he did spend most of the fight running but thats his "style". he landed more than castillejo even though they weren't particularly hard shots, and so won the fight in that fascinatingly boring way of his.

sturm got the ud. 116-113, 115-114 and 116-112(?)

i just love the commentators on this german fkn shit...........they say things like "this is the best of felix sturm, etc".......all i saw was a kid running his ass away and landing the odd jab........I wouldn't even score this fight for sturm.,,,he landed only a few punches per round whilst running the rest. u dont score any fight for sturm

he hasn't been troubled once in this fight. after r10 i have sturm ahead 98-93 while the "online scoring" has sturm winning every round. but i think thats the german viewing public german viewing can be quite a laugh sometimes lol, cause ive never seen one where someone won a round 100%, hell sturm doesnt even get 100% votes for a round even if he clearly wins one

ok...couldn't get onto the forum so i've missed rounds 2 to 8. fuck it...lets just say sturm is countering reasonably well and is landing with the cleaner shots even though castillejo has the higher workrate. i grudgingly have sturm leading 88-84 after 9 rounds.

Round 1 as expected, sturm controlling the opening exchanges with his jab, but castillejo managing to land with some bodyshots. castillejo having some success upstairs as well as he becomes more active for the last minute of the round. close one, i'll give this one to castillejo
