I was just reading an article on morrison's second comeback fight and it got me thinking about him and brewster. both have ( or had in morrsion's case) tremendous left hooks. both guys are vulnerable to boxers and have little defense. of course if they fought now brew would kill him,,,but what about morrsion in his prime? man,,,,,that could be one hell of a war while it lasted. I think morrsion's hook is a bit shorter and more explosive but lamon clearly has the better chin and I think that would be the key to the fight. I think lamon would get off the floor to stop morrsion in the 6th. just my opinion,,,but both guys could get knocked out early in this one. I;d love to get other unbiased opinions on this. thanks:boxing:
I would pick Brewster based on his chin being better.
Morrison had better skills though, but I think Brewster gets to him and stops him after taking an early beating.
I'm not sure.....................Lamon has a pretty good chin, and Tommy does have all of his losses by KO.
I'm leaning toward Brewster to stop Morrison.
I agree,,,,,plus brew also had better stamina. I think morrsion actually cracked a bit harder than wlad becuase he tended to throw everything with all his might so who knows if brew could absorb what he did against wlad but I still think the chin and stamina difference would pull the brew through this one. this would have been a dream fight if brew was around back then
