Not sayin this is gonna happen(hope is more like it) but if it does would he be able to come back like a champion or would it ruin his confidence and his future ability, maybe it would be good for him?
Be careful what you wish for...
I don't know if any of you recall when Roy Jones said in an interview that he dreamnt of being knocked out in a fight.
Well, dreams do come true if you focus on them long enough.
That said, if Floyd gets ko'd, it will certainly trash his ego, but he can always bounce back to fight another day.
It's all in the mindset and what you focus on.
I would, personally, hate to see him go out like that since the only guy to retire undefeated was Marciano.
If I'm wrong about that, I'll accept my 30 lashes. :boxing:
I dont think it would ruin floyd's confidence at all; however, if he lost his career would be in ruins. Its been tough for him to get a crowd as an undefeated fighter, imagine once he looses the aura of invinsibility.
I wish the mods could have some sort of boxing quiz before you can become a member to weed out the mentally handicapped.
Like this tool, for example.
I wonder if its Charlie31?
lol, it wouldn't surprise me if it was.
ROFL, oh god I got to remember this one,
"WHY DIDN'T FLOYD FIGHT BARRERA, MORALES, MARQUEZ AND PACQUIAO?!?!"
hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahahahahah
:ugh:
Do you know anything about boxing?
I swear to God you just started watching boxing like a month ago.
While Floyd was fighting at 130, Barrera, Morales and Pacquiao were fighting at fucking Super Bantamweight for fucks sake.
God your ignorance is astounding.

Yes, because he has idiotic fans that enjoy his boring boxing methods. Floyd's resume looks like Calzaghe type victims. But atleast Calzaghe can put on a peformance to amaze everyone with. People call Calzaghe a dodger, yet you never seen floyd in the ring with the likes of Pacman, Morales, Barrera, Marquez... And he was in that weight class. Ridiculous that he bypassed such fighters. It's not like he could walk through any of them, they'd give him more of a challenge then Castillo. And most believe Castillo won the first fight with Floyd. While the majority of the fans were booing the outcome of that fight, and all floyd 's idiot fans can bring up is this... Well, he destroyed him in the second fight... But he didn't in the first fight, why bring the rematch up when were talking about the terrible decision that night. And Floyd fans love to attack the announcers and blame foreman, lampley, merchant and so on for not giving floyd props that night. Floyd didn't get props because he didn't do enough to deserve props. He was fighting for someones belt and didn't do nearly enough to earn it in that fight. It's like belts are meaningless when they just give them away like that.
Once again, because your retarted and incoherent, I have to remind you that Floyd has beaten the same amount of World Champs as Pac and Winky combined.
Get it through your skull, his resume is world class and HOF.

i think he will recover, cos he is a great boxer. btw i think a loss is the best thing that can happen to him. in my opinion you cant be the best if you have never lose once in your life. that is the real challenge, when you taste defeat and you are able to make a comeback a prove everyone that you are even stornger than before.
I think he would rebound well. He would probably need a good tune-up fight to get his confidence up...after that he would be good to go. He would move back down to welterweight and have some more big fights against some big names: Cotto, Mosley, Judah 2, etc. He would wanna a crack at one of these big name guys at welterweight to redeem himself.
i think it would ruin his career. the only reason people watch floyds fights are because his undefeated, he's a boring fighter and doesnt get alot of people to his fights or buy his ppv's! if & when he gets ko'd he'll be FINISHED!!!
yes but he knows he is going in with a bigger stronger guy, he will just go down in weight and fight some hand picked opp, and be smart about takeing fights with bigger guys. his style has worked for him in 37 fights i dont think on bad showeing would impact him enough to cost him.
if it happens floyd wont have a problem comeing back from it. floyd is so mentaly strong and smart that he would find a way to pick him self up, with un tune up fight then have a big fight by the end of the year,
if he gets koed that is.
you dont think it would affect the confidence he has in his defense and his willingness to counter in the pocket? seems like he thrives on this.
