I just had a thought, guys. What if Mayweather goes straight across the ring and jumps right into Oscars chest from the opening bell ala Margarito? If he establishes a fast tempo, hits and moves to take some steam out of Oscars old legs, I see a long night for Oscar. I also wont be surprised to see PBF mix it up in the pocket occasionally to prove he can take a shot and brawl with Oscar. If Oscar dont get PBF out of there by round 7 the fights in the bag for PBF UD. :boxing:
A lightweight who's not used to brawling, fighting up close against a natural 154 puncher? GTFOH!!!!! Oscar's left hook to the body will land all day if that happens.
Wth, why would mayweather even risk fighting oscar close? Oscar is the stronger dude, he'd floor mayweather if mayweather tried to make it a close fight, mayweather should stick to his plan called hit and run. Thats what he's use to, hit the boxer then run around th ring and win the match... Lame but thats how he is use to doing it
Name 5 fights where Mayweather just decided to pop-shot to victory, not including the Baldomir fight.
I think Floyd is going to attempt to fight in the Pocket at times in this fight, De La Hoya will prepare to deal with Floyd dancing around the outside of the ring, throwing the Right Hand and the Left Hook Counter, not so sure how ready De La Hoya will be ready for PBF up close potshottin him, if Mayweather gets hit too much and is still standing then he will revert to keeping his distance, In my opinion.

I don't think he will. I'm saying if he did take more chances and was more aggressive, it would have to be up close and not at mid range.
Oscar needs some space to launch his left hook. He's never shown that much in-fighting ability.
Then he has to make sure he's really up close. Mayweather has better in-fighting skills than De La Hoya, but if De La Hoya gets some room and lands that left hook cleanly, then Floyd can be in for a very short and rough night.
