floyds an ugly looking dude, how come they call him pretty boy floyd...i hope you're a girl, because for one to comment on a man's look when he's in a sport that involves fighting, is just a little stupid.
You make good points but in my opinion Floyd had no business fighting Judah after the baldomir loss Judah suffered because the fight didn't mean as much after Baldy beat him.
Judah was the undisputed champ at Welterweight before his loss to Baldomir. If Floyd would've fought Baldy first, you and every other hater would've said the loss was a fluke and he should've fought Judah. And you want to give Floyd fans shit for not being objective? You can't even be honest with yourself. Floyd took care of Zab and Baldy (the last 2 WW champs) and you still give him shit.
Sure stopping glass-jaw Judah isn't the greatest of accomplishments.
I wouldn't exactly say he had Floyd in "trouble". Sure he was winning rounds, but they were close and competitive.
And although I admit Judah isn't the most mentally sound person out there, I don't think it was because of a mental meltdown, that Floyd turned that fight around. It was more of Floyd starting to find his range. For the first 4 rounds, Floyd was trying to set-up his righthand with his Jab, which Judah was timing beautifully. Floyd made the adjustment, and started leading with his righthand, which also opened Judah up for some pretty good left hooks to the body.
Who knows, neither you nor I know what was going through Judah's head at the time... maybe it was a combination of both?

Cant argue with that...Judah is a let down........But that fight was easy work for floyd.....Remember Oscar lost to Mosley Trinidad, got a gift against Whitaker & Quartey, and that was in his prime. Remember he is not in his prime now........I may be blinded by bias, but lets say im right
Your right Oscar is not in his prime anymore but he is still damn good and is not an old 34. He hasn't taken a lot of punishment and still has his skills and boxing ability not to mention still one of the best jabs in boxing when he remembers to stick with it. I will admit that he lost the first fight to Mosley, and many people feel he should have gotten the decision the second time but it was close. I think everyone knows who really won the Tito fight regardless of the decision, and Oscar won the whittaker fight it was close but he won. Whittaker did nothing but did nothing but run around and clown the whole fight. The Quartey fight was close and without the 12th Quartey would have won but he didn't do enough to close the fight Oscar put him down and almost stopped him Quartey could not expect to win that way. Oscar did what he had to do to win and the decision may have been close but Oscar went out and took the fight in that 12th round. On the same token Oscar didn't do himself any favors the last three rounds of the trinidad fight but it wasn't as if Trinidad did a lot either. Oscar won enough early rounds to get the decision regardless. He won at least 7 rounds an the last time I checked 7 out of 12 rounds is enough for the decision but I will agree that Oscar didn't do himself any favors. Worst case scenario maybe a draw but even that is pushing it. Had Oscar gotten the decision it would have been called a gift yet when it went to Tito I don't hear the same thing. If you want to talk gift decisions i notice you didn't mention the first Castillo vs. Mayweather fight.
I don't doubt he could have been stopped but stopping Judah doesn't really impress me. He is so weak mentally and has a glass jaw, not to mention he melts down in every major fight he has been in. Judah has always had the skills and tool he is just mentally weak and honestly I have always felt he was overrated. he had Mayweather in trouble early he is just not mentally able to turn it up and capitilize.

Theres not many Floyd fans i respect because the y seem to lack the ability to be objective, but I have respect for you because this isn't the first time I have seen your objectivity and the ability to recognize facts instead of being blind. I have no problems with people rooting for there favorite fighters but I can't satnd when the way a lot of Floyd fans are blinded and think he has no weknesses or think there is no way he can be beaten. Every fighter has weaknesses and can be beaten. Props to you deliveryman.
Great Post

While he was an amateur his teammates gave him that nickname, because he was never cut or bruised after a fight.

Judah did eat some pretty hard righthands.
And I do believe if Judah didn't practically run for his life the entire second half of the fight, and didn't resort to low-blowing when he was really hurt, he would of been stopped.

Thats a valid point but Mayorga and Vargas are not in Mayweathers league.Speed is power, especially when you dont see it. I think Floyd knows he cant run this fight, and if you look at the Corrales fight you will see that he didnt run but he was was never right there to be hit. Thats the style I think he will employ, not the gatti style where he was right in front of him.
I'm a Floyd fan, and I "says" you retarded.

I must be......But dont believe the hype about De La Hoya......He will Fall, and I doubt he will pressure floyd as much as people think he will......Ill be Mr Retarted until May 6th.....Ha Ha
To get close to Oscars body that will mean he will have to come in and take punishment himself. He will be close enough for Oscar to get off and I don't think he is willing to do that. Its not just the baldomir fight, he didn't show any power against Judah. Judah had the skills to beat Mayweather he just can't ever mentally put it together to capitilize. Mayweather hasn't shown pop for a while now. I'm not comparing Vargas or mayorga to Floyd but they are both big punchers and Vargas was the bigger man against Oscar. Vargas landed some big shots to Oscars body and head and was not able to put him down. If those two guys couldn't do it you are not gonna convince me that Floyd will. Also I don't see Floyd surprise anyone power wise at 154, I do think some people will be surprised to see how the weight will effect him.

On Paper you are right, however I think a lot of people may be suprised how much pop he does carry, and once the body gets attacked the head will be open. I think a lot of people are looking at the Baldomir fight where Floyd played it safe because Roger was not there....What says U ?

Floyd will never stop him with a body shot, but can wear him down.....remember nobody can take it to the body for long.....I think Im delusional.......Speak to me on May 6th.....
