Dawson VS Briggs

I'd bet on Dawson beating Briggs in a rather one sided fashion. Briggs comes with a style which would be effective against Dawson's style, but Chad is a good young fighter who can fight at a high rate for 12 rounds. All of those physical advantages Chad possesses would lead to Briggs taking a lot of punishment before being able to land anything of note. Adamek is about as tough as they come as well, but had he gone in with a face first approach he would have been battered. Dawson by decision.

Briggs is very strong. He will put some pressure on Dawson. Adamek can fight and beat Briggs, but he is more of a boxer and you cannot box with Dawson, it seems. So yes, I think Dawson-Briggs is a worthy fight. Let's get it on.

The opportunity to disagree with you rarely comes along. But Briggs has a solid chance in this fight given Dawsons whiskers. Briggs will likely be outboxed but Dawson can't afford to trade with Briggs. Briggs is tough as they come also. Fair enough Chacono. Briggs has a puncher's chance. A lot of guys will have that chance on Dawson.

With the kind of shots that he can throw he may not need the skills. The technically best don't always win fights. Hope Dawson has a hell of a chin because some of the shots that Adamek took from Briggs would have seen many other boxers down for the count. The fact is most of Briggs fights are exciting as even though he may not be the most gifted boxer, he will not back down and has the potential to end a fight a anytime. Saying that he does not deserve a shot because he lost 2 debateable decisions to an undefeated champion is ridiculous. Just because he ain't a yank does not mean he does not deserve another shot!

Complete waist of time.... Briggs was robbed in the first fight with Adamak, he says he wants another tittle shot by the end of this year, he's not a bad fighter hes actually pretty good I did not see their 1st fight but watched the 2nd and it was very close.......so he could have been given the nod in both fights according to what you just said......He is tough and rugged but he does not have the Boxing skill to compete with Dawson IMO.

Consdiering some thought he beat Adamek in their last fight.......I suppose he does maybe deserve the shot but Dawson would beat him soundly.

he has no chance in this fight and he dont deserve it. this fight is a complete waste of time
