He's got a lot of talent and ability. I remember when he came onto the scene, I was pretty excited about him. But, his lack of heart and the respect for other fighters abilities is his weakness. His loss to Carlos was a perfect example of this.
I remember after Zab knocked out a very flat Cory Spinks in their rematch and everyone proclaimed that Zab had found his maturity and that he was the second coming.
Still, Zab has great talent. But he will never have the focus to make him a long-standing champion.
Please son, Zab got rocked by Kostya and Baldomir, not Chop Chop Corley and Ricardo Torres. Cotto won't be dancing cause when he hits the canvas he's not getting back up.
PS - People need to realize that "chicken dance" is some of the lamest sounding shit ever.
He's going to beat Cotto, he hits harder then anybody Cotto has ever fought (including Torres and Corley), and he is faster then anybody Cotto has fought (including Malinaggi and Quintana). People haven't seemed to notice that since his war with Torres, Cotto's people have been very careful not to put him in there with guys who can bang (I mean, Branco, Paulie, and Carlos? What, did you think I wouldn't notice?). However, against Zab they have a guy who not only has a left hand that lands like a train crash, but he has maybe the two quickest hands in the sport (I said maybe, get off my case). Odds wise I see the fight as a pick'um in reality. However, the old noggin' tells me that Zab is going to be too much for Cotto to handle.
Anybody smell Zab/Mosley, Zab/Cintron, or Zab/Spinks III????
we just hope he doesnt give the referee a hard time. smh
The tongue sucking was too hot for me to take; I had to go have a wank and I don't like to do that here.
Regarding Zab, I kind of like the guy. But I really like seeing him get knocked out. He's kind of like Wlad Klitschko in that even when his fights are boring they're exciting, because you know either guy can go at any second.
i think he's a great fighter.
the fight of him getting knocked down and getting up and slipping and falling cracked me up
your thoughts?
Thoughts? He defines the term "waste of talent". He's probably one of the very best fighters right now when he's on, yet very inconsistent, that's what makes him dangerous, he's seen better days, we'll see what he brings against Cotto.
Zab Judah believes in his left hand like King Arthur believed in Excalibur.
He'll always be lethal because of that..
I don't prefer him as a fighter overall. He's got tendancies that Larry Merchant correctly pointed out he picked up from his father - a Kickboxer.
He stays in the pocket like a cherry picker.
He's too impressed with himself.
Boxing is still a working man's game.
I love that Baldomir was the guy to show him that. That was perfect.
There's a better chance that losing has been the best possible thing for him, than the opposite.
