I can't vote...I know Naseem had tremendous knockout power, and I know that we're all tempted to say Marquez easily because his recent performance against Diaz...but even WITHOUT that performance...I'd pick Marquez because of my dislike towards Hamed...entertaining, yeah...but extremely cocky. :thinking:

People who use the 'Barrera theory' need to get a grip! Marquez leaves himself open too much to avoid Hamed's atomic punching power. Then what? Marquez somehow gets up from the canvas and schools Hamed the way Barrera did? No. He gets hit flush on the chin and doesn't get back up. Hamed KO/TKO.

Marquez would not come through 12 rounds with Hamed without being dropped or knocked out. Marqez has a shaky chin at best. I cant see him getting by Hamed's punching power. Norwood,Pacquiao,Barrera all put Marquez on his ass. Even powder puff puncher Juan Diaz shook him, its not like Marquez has a great defence or a great chin, he is an excellent counter puncher, but he is very hittable and knockoutable.

I keep thinking What if Barrera didn't box and was the aggresive puncher. The Prince would have handled him. JMM is a counterpuncher that would beat Hamed. But if JMM fought like the way he fought against the Baby Bull he would have gotten KTFO against the Powerfull Prince.
