Holyfield explains why Bowe and Tyson ducked Lewis

Listen im sick of hearing about Lewis being ducked by Tyson or Bowe.. I reckon Both would of dropped the chinny giant in there primes.. Tyson paid Lewis step aside money so he could fight Holyfield And Lewis took the money... Now who is the bigger PUNK! the guy who paid the money or the guy that took it...Exactly LOL i could see people disputing that Tyson ducked Lewis (which i personally think he did) but saying that Bowe didn't duck him is outrageous, Lewis beat him to a bloody pulp in the olympics and that's why Bowe "threw away" his title in the garbage, he fears Lennox. BTW... Lennox Lewis beats both of them prime for prime.

Didn't Tyson pay Lewis step aside money? Then he took Holyfield, who no one thought would win. That's ducking Lewis. And biting Lewis at the press conference almost got the fight cancelled.

Im pretty fuckin sure PRIME Mike "Im 5 KO Machines" Tyson wouldnt have gave 2shits who he fought! By the time he did fight Lewis he WAS scared coz he knew he couldnt win at that time in his career! He went at him at the presser out of fear and during his ring walk he looked like the peeps that used to fight him - shit scared! Yet he brought it and he took his lumps bravely like a man! He was doomed to defeat but he stayed in there taking bomb after bomb when he could easily have quit! I gained EVEN more respect for him that night in a weird way! Most horrible fight to watch ive only watched twice and i own it! Bowe another fgighter i like alot Ducked LL like a bitch! Shame coz he had the tools to do him! Ive never been a fan of Lennox but im gratefull for him bringing some respect back to British boxing :fing02:...

I remember it being an HBO-Showtime issue rather than Mike just not wanting to fight Lennox. They were trying to make the fight, but for what ever reason HBO refused to let Lennox fight on Showtime, considering that Mike had the belts and was the draw, it was only fair that Showtime get the fight, which is why Showtime didn't bulge either, and that of course stalled negotiations. Seeing how negotiations weren't going nowhere, Mike paid Lewis some step aside so he could take the biggest money fight available against Evander Holyfield(the fight that everyone wanted to see). Had Mike did what he was supposed to do against Evander then I am sure they would have probably fought after that. However, the heavily steroided(lol) Evander ruined everything in with that fight. Tyson avoided Lewis after he came out of jail. Tyson knew he wasn't prepared to fight Lewis at this time, if ever, after rusting away in prison. Tyson was buying time, getting that money, before facing the Lion. Tyson would make a ton of money, would also lose it, but Tyson had a bigger shot at beating Lennox within the first few years out of prison than when he finally met him. He wasn't affraid of that gay man, look at how he stormed right at him in the press conference and had the balls to fight him at one of his worst physiques in his career. Oh btw, Fuck Holyfield. Tyson only did that to sell the fight and he only took the fight to make money. It doesnt take balls to fight if ur a fighter and desperate to get ur hands on the fattest paycheck in sight....Lewis. I'm really surprised how Holy is talking so much lately. First he says Tyson used roids, now this.??? He used to be so reserved when asked his opinions. I think because people are trying to forget how good holyfield was and talking down on him and his legacy, so hes trying to defend himself now.
