Did Zab take spanish lessons because from what I know Tito doesn't speak word of english. That would've been an interesting conversation if he would've called up Tito on his cell phone.... :D
More proof that Zab Judah is full of it. He is not very smart. I swear, every negative sterotype you hear about black people and the hip-hop lifestyle is masterfully reinforced by this knucklehead. He gives his people a bad name.
There's only one reason I will tune in for Zab Judah fights: To see him get his ass beat.
Cotto is just the type of fighter to apply the mental and physical pressure to make Judah fold like a lawn chair. They say the left hook is a good weapon against a southpaw. Cotto has that and more. Not only is Judah's jaw made of glass, but so is his psyche. He is impatient in the ring and lacks the internal fortitude to stick it out when it's crunch time at the world class level.
Somebody tell me, how does Judah win this? And I'm not talking about a weight-drained Cotto fighting at 140lbs and getting rocked by southpaw Demarcus Corley (who by all intensive purposes doesn't have Zab Judah's athletisism but for sure is gets the nod in the mental toughness department).
The way I see it, Zab Judah starts fast in the opening rounds, maybe even dropping Cotto once, but freezes once he realizes that he can't overwhelm Cotto and that Cotto's brutal body attack has sapped Judah of all of his speed and quickness.
Cotto KO/TKO Judah in the mid to late rounds with Judah pissing blood for a week. I don't see it any other way.
Hell no Zab Judah is a f.... wanna be gangsta who ever backs him up is just a punk just like him. There no way that more people like him better than cotto in PR. He is not Boricua in PR we back our fighters to the end even if they suck. Also I think in NY there will be some Zabs fans there but there will be far more Cotto fans there since its the Puerto Rican day parade.
Fu..... Mono
zab was on some dope when he said he got more fans in puerto rico than cotto does, aint no way that could ever be true. However in New York, that actually could be substantial

No way Tito said this, no way Zab has more PR fans in NY or in PR than Cotto, and no way Zab wins this fight.
its possible that Zab has alot of puerto rican hood muthafuckas backing him in new york though, i mean, HE IS well known out there and associates with ALOT of people, far more than Cotto does as far as new york goes. All my puerto rican family out there is behind him in new york.
Just got off the phone with Tito he conformed what he said about Cotto was true. He's in good spirits and back in training for the winner of Mayweather v DLH in Sept 07.

Those two talking to each other would be a translator's worst nightmare.
I dont think so, tito's too humble for that. A LOT of people here in the island picked Q to beat Cotto soundly, including Tito's dad who used to train Q by the way, Tito was one of the few who picked Cotto to KO Q by mid rounds.
I'll take it from you, G.
You have a better vantage point on the situation than most..
Interesting post, Scizza. :fing02:
Zab may be having fun with us, but can anyone think of some very good reasons Tito would say this??
Like Larry Merhcant said as Miguel was preparing to enter the ring on staurday:
"..Let's be real, at 26 Tito blah blah blah defeated blah blah and the people blah blah..."
Is it possible Tito is insulted by the hoopla surrounding Miguel Cotto?

Zab: Tito said I’ll knock him (Cotto) out in 4
By Miguel Planas
This weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico, former undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah told Fightnews.com and a selected group of media "I was running with my boy Tito Trinidad this morning and he told that I would KO Cotto in four," to the disbelief of reporters. Judah continued with a grin "I have Tito's number with me right now if you want I could call him.....the fight is in my house now. When I win, I'll get my Bentley and my belt and go celebrate at the Puerto Rican day parade." What does he see in Cotto that he could take advantage of? "Cotto makes a lot of little mistakes that he can get away with that with class C fighters. He's now going up with a class A fighter. He is the one with all the pressure in this fight." On Cotto's Puerto Rican fanbase? "Believe me I have more Puerto Rican fans in New York than he does. Hey, I even have more Puerto Ricans fans in Puerto Rico than he does!" concluded Zab with a smile.

Judah is just hyping the fight. At the end of the conversations he said that he had more fans in Puerto Rica than Cotto did, when they showed him on the monitors he got booed so clearly thats not true. I think the smile at the end was Zab saying, "i'm just fuckin with ya, but the trash talking begin!"
Hey Edward, who is that in your signature thats picking up then bodyslamming the other guy? thats some power.
the first one is Kevin Randalman slamming Fedor and i believe the second one is Eugene Jackson
Jelousy makes sense to me. Its not like Cotto is basking in the fame or anything. He doesnt run up and jump on the ropes after a knockdown. Hes not very vocal. He just does what hes told to do it seems.
Tito choses a brotha over a boruk, probably not.
Is there anyone out there that wants to see Zab win and in turn make more money?
From what I've heard there is some jealousy in Puerto Rico. The Trinidads "want to be the only ones" in P.R.. Cotto is getting alot of shine now so if that was true back then it could only be even more so now.
I forget which HBO telecast this was said on, and I know it doesn't mean much but Ruiz actually backed the claim up. When they spoke to Cotto on it, Miguel just replied that he wanted to live up to Tito's shoes and that it was not a competition.
So do I believe that Tito told Zab that. Yes, 100%
