A guy on the net told me that he asked various sparring partners in the 90's who had sparred with frank bruno, george foreman, mike tyson, razor ruddock . Who hit hardest . They all said bruno . Did anyone hear of the punching tournament that tested the biggest punchers in the heavyweight divsions power . Apparently bruno won it and this was a tournament including tyson, foreman and ruddock.
did bruno say that tyson was the hardest puncher he faced.
Not sure if he said that but i remember him saying he was like a harbour shark! All over him!
lol,,,then I guess hasim rahman has the toughest jaw in heavyweight history as he went nearly 20 rounds with tua
I'd say Tua's left hook, when it connected flush, was up there with the most powerful, or certainly not far behind. You have to remember, Rahman wasn't taking flush shots from Tua, he neutralized Tua's power in both fights with his jab. The difference between a Lennox Lewis and a David Tua is that a Lewis can use his other skills to set up the the power shots. David Tua is 5'9'' with barely a 70 inch reach, and has limited boxing fundamentals. Those lack of fundamentals is the reason why he's struggled so much with certain fighters; he can't get himself into positions to fire the big shots.
I Remember Bruno Saying Of Tyson He Couldnt Beleave How "awsome "his Power Was And He Never Felt Punches Like That From Both Hands
did bruno say that tyson was the hardest puncher he faced.
Tua hardest puncher absolute rubbish
Why not? Cuz he wasnt a hall of famer, actually watch footage rather than go by paper stats. Everyone here seems to love earnie shavers, i'd say tua accomplished more than him.
That doesnt matter, foreman and tyson take more time to ko thier opponents, All tua has to do is swing and connect properly, its over. I think he's by far the hardest hitter.

I can remember this story. I can also remember an interview Tyson gave and when asked who was the hardest puncher he'd ever faced he said BRUNO!
I think one problem Bruno had was you could see his punches coming from a mile away if he'd been a bit quicker he would of been devastating. But has big punchers go he could easily be the biggest. As for Eubank he was a massive puncher but unfortunately after the infamous Watson fight he never really threw the devasting shots like he used to, he seemed to be going for points victories.
TYSON ACTUALLY SAID RUDDUCK .. MAYBE HE SAID BRUNO BEFORE HE FACED RUDDUCK
Yea, Moorer's chin could withstand anything!
And Ruiz was rocked by Roy Jones.

lol
U never get bored with that fuckin video do u?
Bruno hit hard, but the hardest ever i would have to disagree. Why wasnt Lennox knocked out when Bruno hit him so often then?

I'd say david tua is the hardest hitter, as soon as he connected on ruiz and moorer, they were out cold. That's what i call a devastating hitter.

how do you know . it has never being disproved or proved to of happened by anyone.
If the tournament you speak of did happen then surely there would actually be some evidence to support it. If the only thing going for it is a rumour then most likely it didn't happen.
It doesn't mention it at all in Frank Bruno's book.
