Cottos camp overlooking oktay urkal??

Yeah the over/under is 6 1/2 rounds and I'm struggling with which way to wager. A lot of Cotto's KO's come before the end of the 6th round, even against good fighters. However, some guys like Gianluca Branco and Paulie Malignaggi have gone a bit deeper. I usually want to see a guy fight a few guys in a division before I predict whether he blows out guys who have been at the weight for a long time. I know I';ll be taking the under on the Berto fight this weeekend though.... Take the under. If he can finish Quintana in 5, stopping Urkal in 4 is the call IMO. Vegas is smart though, so maybe stay away and just bet on a stoppage if you can get decent odds. The Berto bet may be a sucker bet, unless Figuerora just had a chin of stone.

Nah probably not. Cotto is in the gym regularly and working out, how can you say that? Never mind the talks, the people around him makes the planning and the talking, Cotto does the fighting. good point

Urkal will be beaten down inside of 8 rounds. Urkal isn't the fighter he was win he fought Tszyu six years ago.

urkal dosent stand a chance vs cotto...fight ends before the 7th

already talking about fight with margarito or judah , even date is set. urkal is a tough fighter , not a big puncher , but he will bring it . He did an awesome job against a prime tsyzu lost a close decision got careless against harris in the second fight ,IMO he won the first. I hope urkal takes this , and makes cotto regret he took him lightly You know, I was worried about that. Its good to be confident and train hard but not too confident. Now that he looked impressive in his last fight, I hope he doesnt' take Urkal lightly, he gave Zoo all he could handle for 12 and also gave Harris two very tough fights, Harris at his best.

I hope urkal takes this , and makes cotto regret he took him lightly lol, looks like everyone hates cotto now a days...cotto will beat urkal, and make it look easy imo :boxing:

Urkal is undoubtedly one tough bastard. I can see him giving Cotto fits, possibly surviving to the final bell. I just think everyone will get to see how much of a killer Cotto will be at 147. this will be one of those occasions where a fighter (urkal) is too tough for his own good.....cotto is gonna beat him up and down cotto is my man from here on out, in a division filled with superstars he is the one i think will stand on top when all is said and done... he has shown his ability to beat slick boxers, southpaws, he has shown raw strength (branco) and a nice dose of survival ability and heart (torres) i certainly dont think there is a man that can come forward and beat him at his weight, an unstoppable force, this miguel cotto character

I dont think Cotto is himself. His camp might be yes. Cotto overlooked Torres and almost lost.

Witter is no bum. He is better than Urkal. i take that back , hes a good fighter.but still a prime urkal is much better IMO

Urkal would have been a good test for Cotto in his prime. However all signs point to Cotto knocking today's Urkal out.

Urkal has been a pro for 10+ years now and he has most likely lost a step since the competitive affair with Tszyu and the fights with Harris. He hasn't fought anyone of note since early 2005. He just won't have enough to keep Cotto off of him...and I doubt he'll have the legs to evade Cotto's onslaught for 12 rounds. I agree, and also i just dont get the impression Cotto is the type to overlook opponents
