Tyson/Douglas round 10

All those episodes were good. I thought Chavez-Taylor was the best. yeah me too!! i actually even still watch that weekly. what an amazing fight it was!!!!!!! pryor arguello was a close second tho, im glad that pryor even got his place in history. even without the bottle i mixed....lol it's a massive shame that it's not an on-going series. i'm sure that the tale of morales-barrera and the tale of gatti-ward. would make compelling veiwing for any fan. i would even say that these kind of documentary's engrosss more new fans than most fights we all look forward too.

douglas was beating up tyson in round 8 (as usual) until tyson landed that uppercut. douglas got up, the round ended, and tyson came out in round 9 looking to see if douglas was hurt and trying to finish him off. they traded some good shots, then douglas hurt tyson, wobbling his legs, and beating him up on the ropes. tyson survived the 9th, but was finished in round 10. lol!!! im still waiting for it to finish d/loading but i know thats exactly what im gonna see. have you seen the hbo legendary nights of this fight? it's a classic.

What I'll remember forever about this fight was how quiet the crowd was, if this had been in Vegas, the reaction would have been insane. Wonder if this worked in Buster's favor? I think there were six people screaming when Iron Mike went down and that included Lamps and Merchant...lol Lampley was so shocked, he wasn't even that dramatic when Tyson got stopped. If it were De La Hoya knocking out Hopkins, the man might've died from a heart attack.

that fight ended the way it should have, douglas was doing phenominal, but theres still a side of me that says that uppercut tyson landed should have probably ended the fight, and tyson should have won (luckily) by that punch. yea buster slams the canvas and doesnt look that out of it, but he got up WAY too slow, i think he was just going to give up honestly. Had that round had 1 min or more left i think he may have went down again but who knows. great fight though either way.

SIMPLY NO!! in mikes own words he said that when he was kd he was thinking crazy thinking that the referee aint gonna let him carry on without his gumshield. and we all know now what mikes record is of getting up off the canvas. strange tho that it's still an unforgetable sight of mike trying to concentrate on putting his gumshield back in. i hardly even remembered how good the uppercut that buster laid on him was.

The guy asked if Tyson could've beaten the count if he hadn't gone for his mouthpiece. Since he made it up to his feet at around the same time Meyran would have said 10 (he actually didn't even say the number ten) and waved it off, chances are from the short amount of time he spent looking for his mouthpiece, he could've made it up before 10, and then the ref would stop it since Tyson was done for, making it a TKO, instead of a KO.

Do you think Tyosn could have beaten the count if he didnt go looking for his mouthpiece? yes. but it would have been like a hagler-hearns situation where he had no clue where he was when standing up.
