I read recently that his motivation is $$$$ pure and simple. Something about being strapped for cash after the cancellation of a third Corrales fight. If he has $$ signs in his eyes entering the ring, then he'll be seeing stars after the fight.

If this was the hungry Castillo that fought corrales, then hatton would be fucked.

Stop going on about him holding and in fighting...
He can actually box too...You'll see....
The first half of the urango fight shows as much..He only started holding when instructed to by his corner..in order to play it safe...bigger fights ahead..(like this one..)
So no hoding just a good old tear up..
Hatton will too strong..and never stop....
If this was the hungry Hatton that fought Tszyu then Castillo would be fucked.
Castillo's infighting will not allow Hatton to hold and hit, like he did against KT.

Castillo is washed up.True he looked good when he fought Diego in the second fight. But he was most def the bigger man. This just ain't the case this time.I would say Jose aint what he use to be and seeing last night he can't stand up at 139 let aqone one 140.
1 fight, 1 off night and way too many people ready to crucify Castillo. Judging fighters of Castillo's quality on one fight happens way too often and carries little weight IMO
I think it's a war of attrition, pounding to the body with Castillo landing the harder punches but Hatton landing more of them, and I think Hatton's youth and energy will be the difference between the two of them leading to a late stoppage in the championship rounds. I also think there's a chance that Castillo will get dropped but we may see both fighters on the canvas.
Castillo hasn't looked all that sharp lately but he knows how to work his way inside on guys and that should lead to Hatton finally getting a few points taken away for all that 'strategic' holding he does. I think Castillo's better class will show down the stretch and he beats him unanimously.
actually i just imagined the following really sad outcome for the fight:
castillo does not have it anymore, his timing (which was really impressive, look at the mayweather fight) is gone. his chin is not gone however. they make the fight that we expect: a battle. but hatton has faster hands and feet (hatton may not look sweet as sugar, but he has some serious speed going on for him) castillo looks like he is in the fight but he is getting tagged too much, he undergoes lots of pain but is never stunned, bcos he is as tough as fuck. In the championship rounds he is just trying to make it to the bell, but he knows only one way to be in a ring: fighting. castillo loses a decision is never knocked down in the process, but he takes a career ending beating.
I really hope both fighters come in really good shape and castillo does not show his age as i described above.
This is one of the few fights where i feel for both fighters, I dont want jlc to lose his last war (this is going to be a war, and he cant have anymore i guess), and I want to see pbf-hatton, plus hatton is a very decent guy.
This is the only fight i can think of, in which i want a draw.
