Just from the other thread where I saw how friking huge Urango was compared to Hatton. Geez , how in the hell did Urango make the 140 weight limit ? the guy looks easily 160 or more.
This wont be an easy fight, thats for sure. The dude has 13 KO's in 17 fights witch means hes a hard hitting strong SOB.
And to boot...he's 2 inches taller than Hatton.
I like Hatton. I hope this is a good fight.
where in the hell did this image of hatton the slugger come from. yes he's tough as nails and can go toe to toe but he has always been more of a boxer than a slugger. he moves in and out of range and picks his shots, throwing great combinations. he is in no way, a one dimensional slugger.
I've only seen like 3 or 4 fights of Hatton, but I've always seen him slugging it out. Every time after a break he immediately runs in to close the distance, he has to he has those short 20" arms.
Relax...if Urango could fight,Hatton would not be fighting him...simple as that.
This is another hand-picked bum for Hatton to look good against...
If Hatton really wants to conquer America...he should fight someone that people in this country know.Until then he will be seen as another Euro-fraud.
Lol... I would love to see a lower weight version of Calzaghe-Lacy.
Watch Hatton-Tackie, that's the closest thing to Calzaghe-Lacy ever.
Gary Shaw was telling anybody who would listen that Tackie was going to eat Hatton for breakfast..
I've never seen Urango fight, but he's huge and in great shape, could pose a lot of problems to the 1-dimensional slugger Hatton. Hatton got hit hard many times in his fight against Collazo, and Collazo is small, if Urango can time Hatton, which shouldn't be hard since Hatton always tries to get in the inside because of his short arms, I don't think Hatton would last the 12 rounds. I have a feeling that Urango will KO Hatton somewhere between the 6th and 9th rounds.
lmfao...if Hatton is one-dimensional, then Urango is -100 dimensional...........
all the ppl thus far saying that Urango will win have never seen him fight and also have about 5 posts each on this forum.......

urango may be a southpaw, but he's not going to outbox hatton. he's not a collazo.
urango might have power but hatton's chin is solid as fuck. he might get cut though.
Urango has worked on his strength, Hatton will outbox and outwork him either for a wide unanimous decision or possibly a KO if he manages to catch him a few times.
I like Hatton and no disrespect to him or his fans but he is a natural brawler than he is a boxer. He's oldschool , the way he holds his hands up and everything. I say brawling with Urango is the key to victory.
I agree completely. Hatton likes to brawl and Urango's strength is going to be the key factor in a brawl. IMO and from the past Hatton will lose his strength because of the weight loss. Urango KO's Hatton no later than ninth.

Urango's only chance is if he can hold on for 12 rounds and if he has the same judges as he did against Ben Rabah.
urango has a puncher's chance, and he has a good left hook. if were hatton i'd definitely try to box this guy, if he stands and trades and can't take juan out he could get stopped late in a fight he's winning. that's my prediction
13 Knock outs in 18 fights actually ;). Not that hard hitting statistically.
He could cause trouble as he looks tough, but Jeff Lacy looked really tough and thin, weight drained Calzaghe gave him a real schooling.

This looks like Lacy v Calzaghe. The size and muscle difference between the two. I dont know. It could be more difficult for Hatton than people believe.

Calzaghe is has different style he throw combos and move side way and Lacy never hit him with clean shot in thw whole fight.
from round 1 Calzaghe did the same and didnt gave a chance for Lacy to go toe-to-toe he went toe-to-toe but knew when to come out the danger zone
Hatton wins very very easy...........you are forgetting that Urango is a crap slow southpaw and one of the most illegitimate champs out there........
Hatton has problems with good southpaws only. Not crap ones like this...
Hatton by late TKO or WIDE UD.

Hatton could win if he makes it a phonebooth fight but remeber guy most of Hatton fight he was playing the bully but this dude is phyiscally stronger than anyone he have faced.
even the problem with Hatton at 147 is that he could force Callzo like he did to his opponent at 140.
Corrales has the power to make Hatton backoff and Castillo is a better pressure fighter than he is.
Hatton should change his style abit make it more of a boxer and slugger instead of pressure fighter and a swamer
I'm picking Hatton too just those pics of Urango made me worry abit and the fact that hes a southpaw who is the size of the Incredible Hulk has me worried. I'm sure Hatton has had ample time to prepare for this fight. He's learned his lesson against Collazo and surely will look better this time round.
Surely! I hav to admit all Ive seen of Urango is Highlights but they are a bit worrying! Apparently coming from some on the forum who hav seen him he aint to hot but i dont like the look of those muscles lol! Ricky may box a bit, like he did against Takie!
