rivera vs. simms

Not for nothing but to say Jose Rivera was not a "legit" fighter is kind of crazy. He is obviously not PBF or Oscar but Jose, despite looking so bad the other night, is a legit fighter. A true contender, a tough fighter with several good wins on his record. I am amazed sometimes how easily so called fans of the sport dismiss the non-superstars of the game with a few pecks on their keyboards

How many fights has Mayweather had at 154? Who the FUCK has Oscar beaten in the past three years? Simms has a good chance, why not?

Jose DEFINITELY wanted to keep trying to fight, definitely. But he believed me when I told him it was a good stoppage.

you guys cant forget the guy was inactive for 2 years, he said it himself that he did not perform like he would of liked, he made some mistakes. also don't forget nirmal lorrick, simms trainer also trained luis collazo who also beat rivera. collazo and simms train together and have similar styles. he should be able to get a few more good fights.

LOL, don't ask me how, but i remember giving him two rounds. You probably gave it to Rivera because Simms was backing up, showing out, and wasting time. He put on a great performance, but he did not dominate as thoroughly as he could have. I gave my impressions of both fights in the lounge.

Why is it so hard to give a fighter props, that's what i hate about boxing, the fans are big assholes. Its very simple, 'cause they don't know what the hell they're talking about. If you look at Simms last two fights, he KOd Terra, who was a very hard puncher and now KOd Rivera. He didn't just go in there and ran at them, he boxed nicely, had very good deffensive skills, hardly got him, outboxed them and took them out. What's your definition of a legit fighter at 154 if those two aren't?

there is plenty of money at 154. 1.spinks 2. Forrest 3. Karmazin 4. Ouma 5.Dziudurik simms versus any of those guys would be explosive like tonight's fight. He is even moeny with the top 5 at 154. I forget about Karmazin, he had a tough loss recently though right? I don't know about Ouma, I think he's not as good as everyone makes him out, just a workhorse. I don't know Dziudurik. Spinks, that would be a good fight. Did he really say 50-50 split with those guys (floyd and DLH)? No. I don't think so son.
