I still wanna see hopkins toney

I couldn't see this being an exciting fight...

hopkins does move well.. wlad is tooo slow for toney.. if wlad was faster he would be unbeatabe for shorter and smaller heavyweights.. before he came to america he was much more explosive..now hes a tortoise

Hopkins would easily beat Toney now in a decison cause of being able to move around with speed and pick him apart.But if toney could get all the weight off he may do well.I love both fighters though be tough to bet on :boxing:

Toney-Hopkins would be an interesting fight that i'd like to see.

Toney beats Maskieve and Briggs but not Wlad or Valuev Toney Knocks WLAD out. Wlad is way to overrated. maybe not a knockout, but easily decisions the guy. And toney loses to hopkins though. Why would you wanna watch taht though? it would be miserably boring and would prove almost nothing because both guys are VERY old... but still very effective

Would U rather see that or Calzaghe Hopkins? i would rather see calzaghe hopkins myself just cause as a boxing fan it carries much more significance as far as better defining the legacys of two top p-4-p fighters.... however if toney were to win the heavyweight title, then a hopkins/toney match for the heavyweight championship would be very attractive just cause of the historical value of two ex-middles fighting for the big time belt..

i think that the 175 pound version of bernard hopkins that whooped tarver would be able to outbox the heavyweight 235 pound toney to a decision even while giving up 60 pounds..... of course if they were to actually fight hopkins would bulk up but i dont think it necessary even then for him to be more than 190-195
