You must be retarted.
1) James Toney has been in shape for 80% of his career.
2) You are the first person to say that Wlad is a bad boxer.
1. An individuality doesn't change. He wasn't HW until recent times, but always bad prepared. A few exceptions here, of course.
2. If it would so, I don't fear. For example I was that one who was sure that Sergei will beat Lamon, Joe will win over Jeff and Berny will school Antonio.
But it's another story here. I know many profs and funs who know the true price os Wladimir's victories.
The weapon of fat boy Jim is his talent not shape. The talent of body and brain.
Toney was a thousand times better at cruiser. He looked better vs. Jirov than he did against any quality heavyweight he ever fought. Holyfield was just shot when Toney got to him.
Toney belongs at cruiserweight, end of discussion.
He can get by at heavyweight because he is a phenomenally skilled guy with a cast iron chin, but he is the weakest puncher in the top ten hands down and he's the size of one of Wladimir's turds. At 5'9" at heavyweight you better be able to fucking punch.
no...you must be retarded.
Sorry you. He has been successful at about every weight but heavy, to say he was not fit at those weights its retarted.
Are you saying he looked bad against Jirov?
You are full of shit then...
You do fucking realzie that there are limits in all divisions but the heavy? And he obviously fought within those limits.
At heavyweight he is just plain fucking fat because there is no limit. Hence he doesnt struggle to make any sorda weight. He is just fat. Period.
Your argument is as usefull as a used up rubber.
IMO Toney looks as fit as he can be ... and I think what makes this and any heavyweight Toney fight intriguing is if his old school skills can negate the lack of reach and power he has compared to most of his heavyweight opponents... So far his skills have served him well..the only thing remaining to be seen is if his reflexes are still there or not...the guy is thirty-eight after all ... Peter is a beast but Toney is a boxing wizard who has proves that superior skills can overcome physical shortcomings ( former 160 pound guy standing toe to toe with monsters...and winning) Toney UD 12
All Sanders has to do is touch someone to put them out if he hit me Id sure as fuck panick too. Toney would never touch Wlad tho, regardless of whats been said he is a good boxer, and if someone has to outbox him instead of just rushing him they arent going to do very wee. This is also the one fight in the heavyweight division that I would give Toney 0% chance of winning.
Both look in better shape this time around, JT has probably made a good choice cuming in the way he has, better conditioned but still big and solid enough to help absorb Peters blows. Peter has obviously made a smart move too! I said JT decision before and im sticking to it! :boxing:
I will be delighted as long as one fighter wins decisively. There will be a bit of cruel delight if Toney is put on his ass. There will be contentment if Toney overwhelms Peter and gives him a good battering.
My head says Toney easily.
But Toney avoided a Peter lucky punch for 36 minutes before. If Peter is lighter and therefore quicker and fitter can Toney avoid one big swing for another 36?
Probably, but time catches up with every boxer sooner or later.
I do predict it's gonna be a better fight than the first.

1.) james toney has always struggled with his weight. he has struggled with it ever since he entered the sport. your self imposed figure of 80% means nothing. think about it...this is a guy who weighed 157 for one fight and has weighed as much as 238 in another. he struggled with it at 160, 168, 175 and at the HW limit. people make such a big fucking deal about his weight because he STRUGGLES with it all of the time....dumbass...talking this "80%" shit. if he didn't have such insane problems with it he'd still be fighting at the light heavyweight limit.
wlad is a fine boxer, but he's not great and he probably never will be. feasting on a crop of weak heavyweights like he is now won't ever get you shit unless he beats many, many fighters in a row for a sustained period of time. vitali was 2X the fighter wlad is.
I think Peter coming in lighter will play a bigger part in the fight than Toney toning up (a little) Toney could still win but I think he has a btter chance of getting caught clean this time, and if he gets caught with a good punch from peter its over
vitali had a smart way of punch out put too ...if he got you beat he'd go after you but i rarely seen him go full on unless he knew he had someone ready to go ...probably the other number one finisher in the hw division in the last 15 years barring lennox
Yea, Wlad still has some time to learn and mature that way. He seems so scared shitless of gassing out that he doesnt know how much and when to throw. But the Brock fight was an improvment.

si nce when having mroe cuts is in good shape
i do recall vitally being exhausted in a few fights
even the one with lewis and what was that 6 rounds?
non of them heavyweights move as much as toney or
punch as much with his accuracy. so no matter how fat or whatever h
he is it still works. vitally juices anyway thats why he had to retire on injuries
It has nothing to do with stamina. The extra weight affects how Toney moves, how fast(also hard) he can throw his punches, how fast he can slip incoming punches. Most boxers are fit for a reason, not cause it "looks good".
And that is not Vitali in the picture, thats Wlad.
And Vitali never had stamina problems. Wlad did.
A little comment is required. James was never in good shape and he's a great boxer. Wladimir was never in bad shape and never was a good boxer. Funny but true.

byrd keeps his chin high
he only mvoes his feet and
keeps his hands out
byrd and toney fight 2 different styles
byrd is 6'3 toney is 5'10
toney will be much harder to hit than byrd
toney can take a jab to get in the body of wlad
all wlad will do is hold toney
byrds like ... 6'0 6'1
James looks much slimmer in the face/neck area. His gut also seems a bit tighter and his muscles in his chest/shoulders are more cut. I'd say he droppped a good 3-5% in bodyfat and replaced it with muscle. I think we'll see him with better stamina.

I don't know how to break it to you but that's not Vitali in the picture.
