Gunstar, Washington did in fact file a civil lawsuit against Tyson in June of 1992 (the 23rd to be exact), so... But then again, she also had previously turned down a rumoured million dollar offer made by some minister in Providence (on behalf of Tyson, with hopes that she'd drop the rape charges...A big FBI investigation resulted from that) prior to the trial taking place, which is a sum, I believe, that was just about equal to what she settled for in the civil case. beat ya to it:boxing:

None of us know for sure if Tyson did rape that girl, but I think he did it becuase that girl never asked for money, if she was after money then she would've tried to get millions from Tyson but she never did. None of us know for sure if Tyson did rape that girl, but I think he did it becuase that girl never asked for money, if she was after money then she would've tried to get millions from Tyson but she never did. if she asked for money then that woulda made her look even more guilty.and they settled some lawsuit so she did get money.

Yea. Pretty sketchy. I catch a ton of shite from people when I bring up all the weird stuff about that trial. "He bit that mans ear! Of course he raped that girl....look at him" Im pretty sure the gay lawyer bit was due to the fact that Tyson didnt seem to take it seriously till they started telling him how long he was going to prison.

I am not a huge fan of Tyson, and I would not put this type of behavior past him; however, this conviction seems more about punishing him for what he could do and not what actually happened. I could be wrong, but I heard that the victim went to the bathroom and removed her "feminine device" before returning to the bedroom where Mike was. That sounds like she was expecting some sort of contact.

i mean there were witness who saw washington holding tysons hand and groping him . Why did the stupid bitch of a judge not allow them to testify and why the hell did tysons lawyer fuller use the defense that tyson was a thug and an out of control sexual predator and that washington should of know better than to go up to tysons room . I mean jesus christ tyson was was a very wealthy man why did hire he that clown to defend him who incidentally was a tax lawyer. For real. I have sometimes wondered if there was some sort of conspiracy.
