got respect to Paulie for taking the beating that he did against Cotto. i like his boxing skills and i always support all boxers out there but i dont have a myspace.

I agree, Cotto has about as much charisma as paper weight. He doesnt have a flair that Tito possessed. Cotto has that ice cold, all buisness demenour! Its chilling

i like his style it realy something exciting. i been a fan ever i seen his fight canera in KOTV some highlight of the fight he really dance around the ring but in the Cotto fight he fought differently

Exactly, the sell was a combination of Malignaggi's personality and NY appeal and Cotto pretty much just being Puerto Rican. Cotto isn't Tito, Tito was a totally different person with regards to relationships with his fans. Tito was something else as a person. I still think there will never be another PR hero like Jose Torres, however. I'll admit that I couldn't stand the kid when he was talking all that trash before the cotto fight but after the fight I had respect for him & I also felt he paid the price for talking so much so, the hate is gone on my side. I look forward to seeing him in the future & I hope he does good. I can tell that all that talk he does is for show so I've learned not to pay any attention to it. What people don't realize (or wish to ignore) is that Paulie is a genuinely nice guy. I'm serious, if I didn't know he was a boxer, he could just be another kid I skateboard with or play X-Box with. He's a genuinely great guy with a sort of relaxation to him that makes him very approachable. I dunno why people hate on him, I guess you can't win them all over. Hector was completely different because Hector was a street punk from Harlem. Paulie was never into that street shit as a kid, he was a straight ahead kid all the way. I know but he has his swager and Pizazz. Camacho chased down people with bats and went to Rikers for stealing a car. Paulie is a class act.
