Sorry Ian mabey i misunderstood. I thought u said u had Ward winning it, like he did! I had Gatti winning by 2-3 rounds but didnt protest the draw
Props, dude,
I had Gatti to win all 3 fights. Funny how the judges see it, ain't it?
Ian
I had Gatti to win that first scrap, plus the other two...

Gatti was an exciting pressure fighter. But sometime down the line he thought he might last longer if he learnt to box a bit. Gatti has never been TRULY HIGHLY RATED by people who know about boxing. Your always going to get excitement with him though.
And yes Hatton has been down but never very seriously in trouble. Getting knocked down was like a wakeup call for him.
Well, again i'lll mention i can easily see the match going a bit like the Don Curry v Honeyghan match. Curry was No1 in the world and Honeyghan whooped his ass. And i can see Hatton doing a Honeyghan on PBF who is similar to Donald the cobra Curry. No one has commented on this yet so i'll bring it up again.
Hey
Gotta be really honest, I thought Ward had it. I was just trying to prove a point. The Gatti - Ward I scrap was so close.
Props, dude...
Ian
I had Gatti winning by a few rounds 1st time round Luv those guys
not really, above average, but nothing special. Can't deny that i was entertained by their trilogy though.

He beat Micky Ward, didn't he? He was a decent cunt, wasn't he?

What?
Have you seen Gatti/Ward I, II, III? That's pressure!!! Gatti, mediocre? Fucking hell, which planet are you on? Gatti has been in with any cunt who'd fight him!!
Ian
and he has also lost to every decent cunt who would fight him.
If Hatton beats Castillo we're all gonna have to give him his dues, surely?
We are, my friend. If that happens, then he gets his props. Can't really see it happening, but you never know...
Ian
Yeah, yeah Hatton is a mediocre boxer if u want to believe that. And i want to believe PBF is a shite pressure boxer, because hes so concerned with protecting his whiskers.
And what great pressure fighters has PBF fought. There are good pressure boxers...and then u get the top pressure boxers. Lets see what happens when he boxes the best and not mediocre one like Gatti (who incidently tried to box PBF) Castillo was a good one and we know how controversial PBF won that as well.

C'mon Hatton has only been down once! Lets be realistic here. And Castillo likes the taste of the canvas more than Hatton, so a bit simplistic to say becasue Eamonn got Hatton down.
Hatton probably didnt like the taste of the canvas so has decided its not for him. And he hasnt been there since. Not to say he wont in the future though.
Sorry, been offline for a few hours.
Only reason Castillo has enjoyed the taste of canvas more than Hatton is that Castillo has fought much better competition; read: Mayweather, Coralles and the rest. Hatton only fought two good blokes, and one of the cunts put him on his arse!!! There's no argument!

Yep Hatton is a naughty boy who turned down PBF. I am blaming him for that. He has given his reasons for turning it down though. He didnt know he was going to retire though anyway. Hatton knew PBF wanted DLH at some point. So what? Doesnt mean u have to retire! When Hatton has fought Castillo, and if he beats him. I will expect Hatton to chase PBF for a showdown. What is PBF gonna turn Hatton down becase Hatton turned him down once. I ask the question again. How much did PBF want Hatton. Did he want him as much as he wants DLH? If he wanted Hatton before....it will make more money now. PBF likes money. Are u reading this PBF?
Yeah but it goes 2 ways. And they same the same about Hatton as well. So i basically want to see it. 2 contrasing styles. A bit like Don Curry v Honeyghan.
As I said, Floyd was on his way to 154. As he passed through 140, he wanted to fight Hatton. Now the guy is at 154, two divisions above Hatton. I don't think PBF is ever going back down to 140 after this, especially if he wins. He has Mosley, Cotto and Spinks at 147-154, all who are a bigger challenge than Hatton.
Also, Hatton went back DOWN to 140, so how much does he really want the fight?

Floyd is not going to retire, trust me. He might not fight agin in 2007 unless hatton does come calling with them dollars. But he will fight again, they always do! and again, what has Hatton done to warrant Floyd wanting him as much as Delahoya? You are comparing steak and potatoes to a hamburger and fries
Floyd has been after the DLH fight for YEARS. Everyone knows this. You, me, and Hatton too. Floyd has been on his way to 154 for years. Along the way, Hatton was offered a fight and refused it. He decided to fight Maussa instead. Why? Now almost 2 years later he wants to call out Floyd when he's finally getting the DLH fight that he's been after and he's 2 divisions away. After being a 5 division champ (assuming he beats DLH) why the fuck would he accomodate a guy who has been fighting the Urango's of the world? How can you blame the guy who tried to make the fight and not the guy who turned it down?

off the top of the head, chavez, hernandez, and Corrales come too mind. All those guys are better at pressure or just as good as Hatton at it. Some those guys are better defensive fighters too. Hatton can pressure all he wants, but after getting tattoed for a few rounds and that face is shredded, we'll see how much he'll still be putting on pressure. Hugh you got to understand, every fight they say he is too little and they are going to impose their will on him and every fight he proves otherwise. So I get you don't like him, but you gotta respect that and hope someone knocks him off. The fact is Hatton aint gon be the one, hatton has the style but not the skills.
