I would have gotten Mayweather a pair of steel plated boxing gloves to use in his fights. Why? Because despite how much technical skill he has I feel he'll never gain widespread acceptance unless he knocks people out...and he'll never do that again at these higher weights. He just does not possess the punch...and that punch is what is lacks, what people notice he lacks, and fail to crown him as being amazing. More like steel plate cup so he can fight with Judah.....

Cotto would have been alot easier at 140 than 147, Cotto is just a beast at 147 and would beat anybody in the division excluding Mosley and Mayweather. I think you're underestimating Ricky just a bit, he did beat a lower level Tszyu, and struggled with Collazo, partly due to weight issues.. but he's still a world class fighter, just with a little more to prove. I am not saying he is not...all I am saying is that he has nothing to look with Cotto....nothing.... Cotto v. SSM would be great I like Cotto also....and agaionst PBF....if Cotto cut the ring ..watch out!!!

I think the novelty of Hatton coming into difficulties scrambled my mind a little though, as when I watched it again I realised that Collazo only really won 4 rounds. Collazo gave away the early rounds and that cost him. If you want to be technical about it, I had it draw, but the ref never counted the KD and Collazo KD was a flash KD....
