after watching the baldomir fight a few times i noticed this...sometimes hes is in no postion to punch ... if baldomir punched harder mayweather would of been in trouble.. but he is a smart fighter and has good power better then most think.. so that usually keeps his oppoments off.. agressive pressure is his worst enemy...
Then he shouldnt bitch about anything since hes clearly not objective when it comes to the topic of Mayweather. It just proves he has a bias..
even certain posters who hate on mayweather because he doesn't fight "natural welterweights" knowing the fact he has fought bigger fighters his entire career, those same posters get on pacquiaos dick and say he doesnt have to fight "natural welterweights" since hes small, im just saying double standards...
there are a lot of posters who claim they are "objective" on this matter but most of them get :owned: :lol1:
Gotta admit, I am not biased, a Floyd nut huger, or anything... but what he says is true...
I respect all fighters such as Floyd and Manny for what they have achieved in the sport but this guy is right, also there is barely any difference in size between Manny and Floyd Floyd is classed as 5'8" and Manny 5'6", but I heard from somewhere there exact size are;
Floyd -5'7.5"
Manny - 5'6.5"
That is as little as an inch... I am not trying to make something out of nothing and I am not being biased or anything I am far from biased, but all I am saying is it is something that should be considered.
All fighters have there pros and cons... nobodies perfect, nor god. Either way... I think these topics should be left alone because they clearly cause nothing but arguments, so I think we should all leave this be now, if that makes any sense? I am getting sick of seeing the same threads and arguments now... anyone with me?
Hes not always in position to punch, but hes nearly always in position not to be punched, which is more important.
And your totally wrong if you think power is a better attribute than speed.
Pretty stupid to call yourself anything close to a boxing genuis.:lol1:
time will tell
that was a great fight. ndou throws wide shots hits pretty hard and can throw a ton.. but the wide shots got him picked aprt all night... imagine duran or pryor coming non stop at floyd like that with there straight shots and good defense and counter abilty, i dont think he mayweather see the final bell..
That's a good fuckin' argument.. No boubt about it.
I admire your ability to sit through that Baldomir fight multiple times.
I've watched Mayweather vs. N'dou about 9 times.
That was brilliant Floyd!

his balance is good but hes not always in position to punch and thats bad

Its not a bad thing, as long as he doesn't leave himself open. You're never always going to be in a position to punch.
Every fighter is a taught fighter. Some have natural gifts the way Mayweather does but they are all taught to use those gifts.
power is the gift that matters most to a fighter when your born with power you never have to worry about it .. all you worry about is speed... when you born with power and you box your unstopable.. look at pryor and duran.. duran wasnt even in shape at 47 54 60 68 .. fighting guys 20 pounds more then him
Every fighter is a taught fighter. Some have natural gifts the way Mayweather does but they are all taught to use those gifts.
That's not true, some fighters are born punching their mothers with their tiny baby fists. They know how to duck, weave and set to punch. They can say 'hook' and 'cross' before they can say any other words. Taught to fight? What are you...daft? No good fighter was taught to fight. No good fighter ever went to the gym, or learned a thing from a trainer. That's for pussies who shouldn't be boxing. Did Ali go to a gym or have a trainer...what..he..what? Are you sure..oh. Oh. I guess that's the stupidest thing anyone has ever said then, huh?
his 9 million knockdowns against corrales all happened because he was in perfect position to punch.
His brutal combos against Gatti happened because he was in the right position.
Same thing with JUDAH. He brutalized the guy because he was in perfect postion to put together a powerful combination
thats his best fight .. but corrales was slower then baldomir in that fight...
and he sticks his head up everytime cuz hes supposed to be a southpaw but doesnt eve know it .. hes not a born fighter ...ill give him this hes the greatest taught fighter that ever lived for someone who been fighting from the day he was born he sucks

what are u talkin about?
can someone tell me what hes talkin about?
A lot of people consider him the most naturally gifted fighter in the sport. He's smooth and makes things look easy.
And what did u say at the end? i cant believe u just said that. I lost like... all the respect i had for you RIGHT THERE.
He's been fighting his whole life, turns out to be the best fighter in the sport today by a pretty good margine, and u think that he should be even BETTER because he's been fighting so long?
do realize that ur actually talking right now? thats laughable.
