Tyson's right was by far his best. I can still here that Thump! on Holmes' noggin! As far as left hooks go, Smokin' Joe's was cream of the crop, but honorable mentions go to Ray Leonard (KO4 Green--a horrifying shot), Tua, Holyfield, Cuevas, and Ray Robinson (KO'd previously unstoppable Gene Fullmer with one hook). Just one level below is Gerry Cooney's. He had that long left hook, but it sure did crack his opponents. tyson dropped holmes with a right hand not a left hook

No, Earnie Shavers or Joe Louis had better left hooks, and that's just the heavies. Plenty of lighter weights also had better hooks.......

Joe Frazier had the best left hook in history, he used his left hook like Ali or Holmes used their jab. Frazier's left hook fired off multiple times. Almost all of Frazier's KOs come from his left hook. I don't remember who Frazier was fighting against but I remember Frazier knocking this countender out with 4-5 effective left hooks in a row, crazy shit...
