can he? with his upcoming fight with DLH at 154 and with future match-ups against mosley, spinks and even winky wright.. what yall think bout this guys.
the way he dominated 147???how many fights did he have at 147...like 3 rite? dats not exactly dominating. he dominated those who he faced, but not the entire division
He did beat the last 2 champions of the division very convincingly. He lost between 4-6 rounds in the two fights combined (depending on how you judge). What else did he have to prove at 147? Everyone was yelling for a Margarito fight until he looked like shit. Who else is there? Cotto is the only one who really could challenge PBF and he has turned the fight down in the past. Other than Cotto, its just guys that will get embarrassed by Floyd.
I guess if he dominates at 154 the same way he dominated at 147 he deservers all the credit in the world!

I promise you he will get manhandled , since he has no punching power what so ever , with those guys walking around about 175 -180 and shrinking down, thats compacted power & more speed for a lot of them , Floyd has neither @ this point, he will be slower , & have no power what so ever , They basically will walk through his punches with no respect for anything he gets off, & dont mention the hands how brittle & hollow they are
pbf will beat oscar. dlh looked great in his last fight because it was against a guy who stands in front of u, doesn't move and sticks out his chin. pbf will make oscar look old and bad with his skills. oscar is a blown up lightweight, a natural junior middlweight like ouma has a real shot at checking floyd's chin. as floyd moves up and up in weight so fast i've seen him get hit a lot more
I think Floyd, like many fighters in history, has moved up too far, too quickly. He barely got settled at 147 and now we're talking about his possible dominance at junior middleweight. He's left his home- and now I feel like he's on borrowed times. He's with men that can much harder than his days at lightweight. Men who pack on more pounds- all while his legendary speed decreases. I'm a fan...but I'm not holding my breathe.
or h might being running from the real comp..
Quartey, Ouma, Rivera, and Simms would all have a shot vs Floyd I think. Ouma's workrate and lack of respect for Floyd's power could be hell for Floyd. Quartey has sharp, compact punches and a great jab. I'd favor Floyd to beat Ike but not by much.
Floyd's power was decent at 135...but it is nothing at 154. And his speed has lessened a little bit as well. He will not dominate 154 but he could be the RING champ if he plays his cards right.
Are you kidding me? At 140, Mayweather took a tune up against Bruseles and got hated on for it. At 147, he took on Mitchell as a tune up and got hated on for it. Now at 154 he doesn't take a tune up for the biggest fight of his career and you want to say it's ego? You can't please the haters no matter what. I'm sure most of you haters are not going to give credit to PBF when he wins convincingly against DLH...
I like your sig dude, that google search is hilarous.
I have to say PBF moving all this way up in weight is impressive, considering he does not really have the frame to support moving up to such high weights.
He certainly can't knock DLH out, which is apparent that he has lost punching power as he has moved up. Which means he will have to outbox DLH, but the only time I've ever seen DLH get outboxed was against Shane and that was at a much lighter weight and Shane had the power to back him off with stiff shots and affect DLHs rythm. (Well, Whitaker too I guess...maybe that was because of style?)
If PBF can't keep DLH off him he will have a long night. And frankly, I don't think PBF has the power to deter DLH at all...and if he starts to try to do that he is likely to hurt his hand and he won't beat DLH one handed like he did Baldy.
"Wins convincingly" I don't know about that, I think it will be the hardest fight of his career.
PBF is too full of himself. he hasnt even taken a warm up fight at 154 and he is going after DLH. i have no bias towards PBF but can u say stupid! and last i heard wasnt he gonna retire after the DLH fight? or has he changed his mind?
PBF is my fav. fighter without a doubt, but I don't see him dominating at 154. He is always going to be the favorite to win fights from 154 down and always has a great chance to win, but he won't dominate. As he moves up, the advantages that he had on opponents go away and he's just trying to beat them with better boxing skills and knowledge. His physical advantages aren't as big now.

PBF will have his hands full with DLH. Though I do think he gains weight the right way. He seems to always come in to the ring pretty close to his weigh in weight, which to me speaks volumes. I don't think he will have the speed at 154 to handle DLH effectively. I also think he should have taken a warm up fight before DLH just to settle in a bit.
