Cotto is definitely top 10 p4p now

I felt Cotto was Top Ten material before last weekend's bout; but his win over Quintana confirmed it. He definetly belongs in the Top 10.

Barrera was on a great streak before PAC blasted him and is undefeated since. the Raheem L on EM was @135 plus its a style problem for Morales. ********** Nobody has better resume in recent years ( Including PBF of course ) - Barrera - Was @ #3 pound 4 pound at the time of the TKO - Marquez - ( Cud u imagine Barrera and Morales still havent stepped in the ring with this guy, But PAC faced him immediately after the MAB win) - Erik Morales - What can i say, u have your excuses, but theres no denying his accomplishments and capabilities at just 30 yrs old) - Oscar Larios - Long time champion. his lost was due to cut againts israel. *More and more sites are installing PAC at even number 1. so PAC at 2 is not questionable any more think of it this way. pac is the only fighter who lost to morales in the past 2 years and something winning helps your case, i think oscar never made it to the top of p4p lists

Huge Cotto fan here, but I think he needs to beat a champ before cracking the top 10, he should be within the first 15 at this time thou.

Why is everyone on a Pacquioa high? He beat a guy that was done before the fight started. Wright Beat a legitimate Fighter who just came off a 'win' against Forrest, another VERY legitimate fighter. And not only did Wright beat him, he schooled the veteran. Id have Wright over Pac as of now. Maybe id switch it after they both fight again, but WRIGHT at 2 and PAC at 3 Whats the matter with you? Heaveyweights should be pound for pound, I've had Toney top three on mine for more than a year. Its twisted to see a Featherweights being "p4p" and they can't get on...Cotto gonna make huge noise next year, so I'm not worried about putting him on a pound for pound list, I just sit back and wait cause anyway hes gonna really earn a spot in a few months in my opinion. Also, Quintana wasn't proven, he has to do THAT to somebody proven. Beating Quintana is nice but lets see him do that to somebody on the cailber of Mayweather, Hatton, Margarito. Blowing a no name fighter in 5, dont see how that will prepare him to box and win a fight with Mayweather.. Talk about growing as a poster... Quite objective, I like it! Boxing fans sit back and hold on, Mr. Cotto will provide some of the decades best wars, win or lose love or hate the word RESPECT is one that will ring loud and clear with this warrior when it is all said and done.

How many times does it have to be reiterated to you? Heavyweights aren't considered for these lists because they are the supreme weight. DEFINETLY not P4P top 10!!!! He just lost to PETER, and if Peter lost to klitschko and klitschko AND peter arent on it, why the hell would TONEY be on it???? I definetly didnt agree with the decision, i thought it was the worst of the year, but i definetly go with what REALLY happened when considering P4P status There is no way i would have JAMES TONEY anywhere near my top 10, or even my top 20, P4p list...

Mayweather is #1 based largely on his work at 130 and 135....stuff that happened 3 years ago. His work at higher weights is hardly enough to rank him over guys like Pacquiao and Wright, who have been beating on some good opponents. Since MArquez beat a couple of really good fighters in HOF flyweight Mark Johnson and bantam Tim Austin, he has knocked out pretty much every top contender to his title. The guys he is beating aren't exactly killers or the cream of the crop, but they certainly aren't much worse than the Sharmba Mitchell's and Arturo Gatti's of the world. Cotto is definately very talented and will be a great boxer, but a win over Carlos Quintana doesn't make him pound for pound.
