Who Wins: Mosley vs Margarito?

Mosley by stoppage. Margarito would keep coming forward, trying to use his size to advantage and Shane, being the better, quicker fighter would have a ball making him eat leather in combination. By the end of the fight Margarito would look very much like Vargas did in the first fight against Mosley. That fight was actually pretty close.

Think it will be a tougher fight than some people expect, & I think Margarito's work rate & toughness will give Mosley some problems - also think Margarito will be sharper in his next few outings, & fully expect him to beat the over-rated Williams. Still, will go with Mosley by UD - think he will be sharp for this one, if it comes off (doesn't want to let De LaHoya overshadow him too much) & think his accuracy will carry the day.

OK, this poll is showing 52-5 in favor of Mosley. Even some of Margarito's biggest fans have jumped off the bandwagon. This leaves ferocity and Kid Achilles to each have one of Margarito's nuts all to themselves... It's really funny. Because Margarito haters go to ridiculous lengths to discredit him as a fighter. once marg destroys paul willaims you will be back on his jock, he was rusty and got injured in camp and still beat a realy good fight off determination alone I fully expect Margarito to not only beat Williams but stop him. That won't change my mind about him though because I don't think much of Williams.

Mosley struggled with lesser fighters than Margarito recently. He is too far gone from his prime and would really not want this fight to be at 147 or 154. Either way it presents a different disadvantage to him. At 147 he drains too much and at 154 Margarito gets extra energy. The workrate, not overall skill, is what'll allow him to beat Mosley if they fought. But Mosley turned down the fight, for good reason.

Am I the only one who thinks that Mosley might jump at this fight now? He's faster, can hit just as hard, and has been in with alot of tough guys. I think that after what he saw in the Clottey fight, that Shane would jump at the Margarito fight if Arum was still offering alot of money. Maybe they can do it on Shanes Febuary date since Margarito seems to want to stay active now. There is one problem though and that is Shane's weight. He talked alot about a Tito fight so can he really get down to 147 and feel comfortable by Feburary? Also I think as good as he now feels about beating Margarito, I think he is still a little scared because he doesnt know how his body will respond at 147 and he probally would want a safer fight 1st. P4P Shane is probally better then Margarito but the last time Shane was at 147 he didnt look that good at all and struggled against guys he was much better then. Should he take the risk of fighting Margarito in his 1st fight without knowing how his body will respond? All of you might say that Shane would kill Margarito but you probally would say that Shane would kill Estrada but he looked like crap in that fight? Will he handle 147 better this time? I think he'll still probally want a easier fight 1st, maybe against Cintron or someone. However, if Shane did fight Margarito right now then who do you think wins and how? Mosley, I think, can still make 147 and even at his advanced age, he could beat Margarito....he's just too fast.
