heres a look at Max in his early days with his brother in their rap video. just saw this on another site, worth looking at.
someone please get this vid back up
gotta fiend that didn't believe me
you guys didn't know he was a rapper? did you never watch Around the Horn on ESPN? he talked about hip hop at least once an episode.
....I knew there had to be a another reason that I didn't like that prick besides his commentating and general demeanor. Now that I know he's some wannabe rap queer it completely makes sense.
i was suprised how good it was.. eminem sounds just like max... his brother can ryme... the beat was vicious for the time..
The big difference is, Max is raping about boxing, while M&M is rapping about being a little girl who has to pick on other girls (like his mother and girlfriend), and Moby, because he would get his ass kicked if he actually fought a person with a dick and testicles.
You know what? I just listened to the song for a second time more carefully. Max EASILY out-flowed and out-rhymed his brother. He got skills. Listen to his lyrics. He's definately no Brian Austin Green.
Wow. As Much as I'm against the swine MC, I have to admit that Max's brother has pretty good timing, diction (far as East Coast Rap goes), flow, rhymes, voice and overall rhythm. That beat is great, especially for that point in time. The beat has a dark early to mid 90’s feel to it. I'm still wondering how the fuck they got on Columbia/Ruff House; a record label that included the likes of Cypress Hill, Nas, and Big Tim Dog. Anyway, Max wasn't all that bad. Besides his voice, he has good flow and decent timing. It’s obvious these guys weren’t rookies as far as Hip hop goes. I knew Max had some hood in him. He often gave shout-outs to MC's like Cormega, and Wu-Tang on his ESPN shows.
The early 90s hold’s a special place in my heart so I like this video. It has a great setting…a boxing ring and the streets of New York. What more could you ask for? Props.
LL doesn't know shit about boxing, Max is great and I really think it's pretty fucked up for some people to make fun of them considering his brother is dead!
Didn't sound that bad, and his brother did seem to be a lot better then kellerman but its funny to see where he was then, to where he is now. And its fucked up what happened to his brother.

.....Pair of homos for sure. Max looked like he was 6 months from dying of the HIV.
I don't see what is so bad about it: the guy is hyped about boxing, trying to spread the word, although I would of preferred someone like LL Cool J since he can rap and is a boxing fan.
Max was post Vanilla Ice, but pre-M&M ???
lmao I had no idea he used to be a rapper. His brother wasnt too bad. Ive heard worse. Max was pretty bad.
You gotta have stamina....hit you with hands a stone like the guy from panama....
Damn, talk about a wannbe. Fucken max he went from rapper, to boxing host to boxing anaylist, damn he came up, left the wigger behind him and came up, asainthewigger should take notice and mannyp.
Kind of sat to watch those two having such a good time, knowing what would happen to Sam. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a brother, and I don't agree with much of anything Kellerman says related to boxing, but I hope he can one day get over it. I don't know if I'd be able to.
