How do you view Brock now post-Klitschko fight?

I think Wladimir is a much improved fighter and the obvious #1 heavyweight. That being said, I don't know that Brock is too far behind him. I had the fight even through 6 rounds prior to the KO. I think Brock beats Maskaev and maybe Valuev and Briggs. Wladimir is separating himself from the pack... I agree with everything you said............

Wlad looked bad early, Brock has a frustrating style. Brock is alot better than I thought he was, even though he only lasted 7.

I think we got to see that Brock is a solid fighter, but he doesn't have a second gear. In the 5th round, Wladimir turned on the juice and stepped up his game because he wasn't being effective through the first 4. All Brock could land was the right hand to the body and the occasional double jab. We got to see who is for real and who is not. Wlad looks to be the cream of the crop right now...the only guys I can see taking him out would be a Briggs or a better conditioned Peter because of their power. Brock could not land upstairs because of the size difference, Briggs may be able to get to Wlad that way. Brock also didn't have fast enough hands to shock Wlad with something quick up the middle. I had it 4-2 Klitschko going into the 7th.

Actually I think the fight is the 25th And Ruiz is not a fan friendly fighter, though he should be holding the WBA belt right now, and I favor him in a Valuev rematch... If Ruiz can stay with Wlad for a few rounds just think how much all that holding will tire Wlad + Ruiz has okay power . I don't think he would win but I think he would give Klit a much better fight then people give him credit for .

Brock put forth a good effort and looked the part of a live underdog with a chance until he started to get tagged by that hard jab which clearly upset his rhythm. Once the jab starting to find it's way through Brock's defenseI knew it wasn't long before the right hand followed suite. BTW, that right hand was a beauty, I had a strong feeling the fight was over immediately just from how Brock fell and landed. Another impressive notch on Wlad's belt. A game undefeated challenger with no glaring weaknesses and he basically knocked out a durable guy with one punch. I do think Brock still has a future in the division if he steers clear of Wlad.
