The guy was completely coked out - he didn't feel any of Lewis' shots, he wasn't even in his head. He always had a great chin, but the coke made him invincible.
Trouble was it made him unable to fight too.

HAHAHAHA
Even though that was clearly a straight right hand, its still funny.
And Lewis is crazy if he thought that shouldnt have been stopped.
He was falling into the ref.

HAHAHAHA
That is funny........
You know as a huge Lennox fan I have to admit I had never watched that and can't believe that it went down like that.........I read about it and thought maybe Lennox Hurt him bad and he did not want to fight back but fuck me he was taking flush Lennox rights and even a huge uppercut in one of the rounds shown on that video........and did not even appear hurt besides mentally..........that was very strange the strangest thing I can recall seeing in a fight.....besides fan man maybe.
the funniest is cory spinks crying.
and those kinda crying situations are allowed after a victory...but crying during a fight and not throwing punches wtf?
i dont really care about what actually happend in this fight, but what pisses me off where the things that DIDNT happen.
1. lewis didnt destroy him while he was walking away, or had his hands down, or wasnt punching back. lewis didnt pull the trigger when his enemy was literally asking to be shot.
2. mccall shouldve told the ref or his corner that he didnt want to continue. at least give them some kind of noticable sign that he didnt want to fight anymore, i.e. waving ur hand, turning ur back, stayed on his stool, saying "i quit" or something.
3. the ref should've stopped the fight, asked the fighter, and asked the corner if they wanted the fight to be stopped. when mccall was not protecting himself, wasnt punching back, and wasnt showing any remote intrest in fighting, the ref should've thought "gee, maybe he doesnt want to fight anymore."
4. the corner also should've stopped the fight. they should've had the thought "well, if my fighters not gonna protect himself or give a sign that he wants to quit, i should probly do it for him." why they let him continue when it was clear he was out if it is beyond me.
this is a disgusting display of too many people not doing they're jobs.
He actually had a very good second round, which made it all the more disappointing that he brokedown. He was a very capable fighter when he wanted to be. His counterpunching style seemed to give Lewis problems. It's a pity they couldn't have done it for a third time. Also a pity McCall didn't have more big fights in his career. A guy like McCall will always be avoided though, due to the risk.
That was just odd. What did McCall ever have to say about it? I'm sure he was asked about it in an interview at some point. He probably could've beaten Lennox again if he had focused.
McCall obviously had a mental breakdown. It was surreal watching it. He tooks some flush shots with his hands down. He had some chin, but a bad phyche.
