Honestly, I hate Floyd, but he simply looked better tonight. I don't think at all he ever considered the possibility of knocking out Baldy, but he stuck to a game plan. Hit once or twice and move like hell. I mean, props to him for winning, but I think if he fought like that against someone else who could move, it would have been more exciting. I was really dissapointed. I gave Baldy 2 or 3 rounds, close ones, but that was it. I honestly don't think Baldomir is as slow as he looked tonight, but he was just really off.
It seems he can still dominate though.
That's true. But if he wants to become the superstar he feels he is, he's going to need to stop opponents...or atleast have the power to stop them.
Mayweather hurt his hand, so he stayed back basically the whole second half of the fight.
wasnt the domination that was expected, but baldomir was far more awkward then i thought he was. He kept the fight spirited and competitive for about 7 rounds though id say.
And whats all this talk, including talk from HBO commentators, that DLH vs MAYWEATHER is LESS likely to happen now?
IMO, mayweather looked very beatable and if anything, DLH is gonna want to leave the sport with one last hoorah with the fans on his side.
That left hook of DLH is taylor made for a guy like mayweather, that would be an AMAZING fight, and i really want to hear an interview with DLH, maybe one will pop up in the next couple weeks
ROFL. How can you say Floyd looked beatable when he absolutely Dominated, yes DOMINATED Baldy?
How is winning EVERY SINGLE ROUND (and comfortably) not dominating? :ugh:
Floyd gave Baldomir... and everyone who watched an absolute boxing lesson.

The fact that Floyd won against practically a middleweight tonight, leaves little to no doubt that Floyd is also the best at 154. Though, I do believe it will be rare to see Floyd KO anyone from now on.
I think we all knew this is how it would end up. I was really hoping baldomire would pull off the upset but I knew that probably wasen't likley. However I'm really excited about the possible DLH fight that could happen. That would be one of the most exciting fights in ages IMO.

I liked the fight.Couldn't really ask more out of Mayweather. He fought his fight and it would have been foolish of him to stand in front of Baldomir.Pre-Fight interview he mentioned that he woould not take punishment like Gatti so I am not at all surprised.I'm just happy that Floyd won and hopefully he can take Hatton out next.

The punch that would've knocked Floyd out if Baldomir knew it would land while he was throwing it.
Floyd's chin is soooo underrated.
*awaits all the people who said floyd was going to lose, say that baldomir is complete garbage*
nice work, floyd.
YUP. LOL, thats how it usually works.:D
