Baldy was never heard or talked of since before the Judah fight. Now he's at his all time high since he's taking on the P4P king. So many people have faith that he can upset Floyd, though I'm not one of those. I see this as another 1 sided mismatch. So let's say the obvious happens and Baldy loses, will he ever be spoken of again? What more does the guy have left that he could do in his career. Shit, he beat Judah and Gatti though you can't say he does anything well or have anything that stands out. He's most likely going to go into obscurity and drift away like a cloud.
You seemed a little too excited about the idea of Baldomir fading into obscurity, like you want to see him suffer.
I was trying to be poetic using obscurity :lol1: :fing02:
Yeah I think we'll all remeber Baldomire because he came put of no where and Beat Zab Judah, Destroyed Gatti, and Fought Floyd Mayweather so yeah I think he will be well known in history, and the sport of Boxing
If he gets beaten he's still a top ten welterweight and will go for a fight with Margarito perhaps. That is one I'd love to see.
BTW the hate is clearly strong with you. Baldomir has already left a deeper mark in the sport than most fighters. He will be remembered well even in losing to Floyd, especially if he gives Mayweather a tough fight.
Actually man, if you got some interpretations out of it that sounds like hate, there is none. More of an opinion than hate. I really believe Mayweather is gonna blast him outta there though I don't hate Baldy or anything. I'm actually part of that crazy crew that would love to see Mayweather get beat and by who else than the Cinderella man? I just see such slim chances after rewatching the Gatti fight yesterday with Floyd. Floyd can easily pull a similar fight as the Gatti one on Baldy. Floyd is a buisness man and he wouldn't choose fights that could give him fits, remember, he ducks and dodges everyone. This is a fight he knows he can't lose. Let's see what happens. :boxing:
I am so glad i ordered this ppv and cannot wait to see it, 4.5 hours to go. I kinda think baldy is gonna upset floyd, i hope not but i can't wait to see, the undercard is gonna be great too, looking forward to seeing the ghost fight :D This is the appeal of boxing the thrill of waiting to see what happens, not knowing what is going to happen at any point in the fight and being dissapointed or thrilled at the result. I just hope this is not another JCC meldrick taylor fight because we got some similar styles going on here.
even if baldy gets annilated ull here more of him. Hes still a very good fighter and there are plenty of winable and big paydays for him. Unless of coarse, he retires...
Id like to see Baldy jump up to 154 and take on Corey Spinks...he probably beats Spinks and snags another title in a different weight class.
Baldy's style is one that win or lose vs. Mayweather we are gonna want to see again!
How about a return match against Super Judah?
Baldy will still be a contender and could get descent money in fights with Margarito, Williams, a rematch with ZAB, he could fight Cintron, Collazo, Cotto and more, the guy hasnt lost a fight in close to 8 years and a loss to the recongized P4P champ of the world should do little to tant what his done and what he still can do, since Floyd has beaten ever1 put in front of him and the numbers say he should do it tonight as well! If the fight goes as i think then Baldy's will only make more of a name for himself, he will last longer then Gatti and give Floyd more trouble then Judah!

I don't think we would hear too much about him if he gets beaten down. If he just loses maybe a rematch or fight a different top welterweight willing to fight him.
