all this patriotism could backfire on briggs, if he says " i'm gonna bring back the hw title to america " and then he gets knocked out some people might think it means he doesn't love his country

If Briggs was serious about this fight, i mean really trained, Briggs would win this fight, possably by ko. But i don't think he's got the heart, not sure he ever did to the degree to go on even when fatigued, i don't think he's learned how to fight when fatigued. If Briggs took this fight seriously i epect Briggs to win, and by ko. lol,,why would you expect him to win if he came in like you say? he's never legitimately won a big fight against a top 10 fighter in his life. so why would he now. explain this to me

Enough with this American heros sh*t. Just let boxers be boxers. I dont care where they came from if they are exciting i will watch. Its tough enough to decide who to root for out of all these generic boxers that are completely unadvertised and basically unknown. If people are going to use patriotism as a reason, I think that thats as a good as any to choose one boxer over another.

Toney can beat some of the guys out there, but Wlad would eat him up and I think he would be ineffective vs. Valuev. He'd beat Maskaev though. If Briggs, Brewster, Rahman and Toney are the best the US has to offer, then the "line of offense" just became the "line of tomato cans"...
