Anybody see the Ponce De Leon fight?

Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista would be the better fight for Daniel Ponce de Leon. Let Gerry Peñalosa fight Johnny Gonzales at 118 lbs. Gonzales would find Gerry difficult to hit.

where'd you get that info? de Leon - Penalosa has to move up in weight again, too much of a stretch IMO.. Gonzalez - too big, too strong for Penalosa IMO (did you see how he just schooled and dropped Pac's sparring partner?) I'm still hoping he'll challenge Hasegawa, an easier championship fight (no disrespect at all) compared to the above and Rafa. just my 2 cents. its the last hurrah for gerry though nothing else matters but another crack at a championship no matter who the hell is the opponent..

oh, this was a terrible pay per view, but i watched it at a friends house for 8 dollars because she works at comcast. lazcano sucked, penalosa was decent though, his was the best fight.

i was again unimpressed, however what got me was why didint seeger use the counter right hand that de leon was gettin stuck with early in the fight, at one point seeger was just hugging and kissing de leon. Maybe it was the pressure/body shots but de leon is so hittable i just dont see how these guys dont throw more against him, everything was there for him to be hit and hit hard. De Leon just kicked his ass for like 7 rounds. I agree,i guess de leons power is alot to overcome,but I kept wishing Seeer would just let his fucking hands go.Throw a shitload of right hands if anything.He was getting his ass kicked anyway,I dont know why he didnt at least try to go for broke when his opponent was wide open for a lot of shots..

This is the first time Ive seen him at length.Goddamn his technique sucks.Plus he threw a handful of chopping rabbit punches. Thats said,he dominated the fight,and punished seeger for most of the rounds.

When did he fight? :confused:
