Why do so many people like Margarito

Who likes him :ugh: Theres only like 6 people that do,and they've probly only watched 2 of his fights,no1 really likes him on this board,hes nothing special,if he was 2 get in the ring wid Williams he'd probly get knocked out,if he was 2 get in there wid Quintana,he'd get totally outboxed and these two aint even champs yet

He is a big puncher with a durable chin and a high workrate. He is much more exciting to watch than Mayweather IMO. What's not to like, he's a fan friendly fighter who usually wins cleanly by knockout.

most people had never seen a margarito match up until Bob Arum comes out of nowhere and says that Floyd is ducking him. All the floyd haters jumped on this and created a margarito bandwagon.Hey, I dont like floyd either, just telling it how it is(though i will be cheering for him vs Baldomir. Actually man same can be said for Floyd. People just dislike him because he's Floyd. I gave my honest opinion on why people "like" Margarito. It doesn't matter who it is, if its someone trying to make Floyd look bad theyll back him and nod in agreement with him. Floyd plays the role of a villian and he likes it. Did anyone talk about Floyd - Marg before Arum threw the offer out? No noone cared. Now people have interest. Its just the politics of boxing and you know that to be true.

No one really likes him. They mostly look for a way to dislike mayweather and use him as a poster child = ) That's pretty much it. As soon as Clottey whips his ass, he'll go back to being a bum.
