Do you really think Floyd is going to stand n trade??

when floyd mayweather was just a kid his daddy joy (floyd senior) would bring him to national amateur competitions and work him so hard, and taught him to bang with the biggest hitters and outbox the best boxers. baby mayweather has never shown to be chinny even as a 16 year old going against 23 year old men of high ranks and i doubt such a trend would be starting anytime soon.

mayweather surprises me sometimes..i thought he would run from gatti and just win a easy 12 round decision..but he actually stood their and battered gatti..but baldomir walks around at light heavyweight..i doubt floyd does it

I don't think you guys are fully understanding what Floyd was saying. I think he meant he would stand toe-to-toe with Baldy, but he never said anything about trading punches. Floyd will not run away, but he won't let Baldy land either. I think you'll see a lot of counter-punching. Dominant performance by Floyd to get the fight w/ DLH.

Deja vu. Didn't Ali at one point say he would go toe to toe with Foreman (when he wasn't talking about dancing)? And technically Ali did. Mayweather will stay around him in the ring, and on the ropes he will lure Baldomir in, roll and counter. I am hoping that Baldomir wins the fight though. And to Diego - Robinson KO 9 Mayweather.

one thing that is a possible advantage for floyd is that baldimor may try to press the action more than he should. yes, carlos can be a bit sloppy at times. on the other hand, if carlos hurts mayweather, which of course is a possibility, baldomir is not the kind of guy to let chances like that slip through his gloves and may surprise the ever confident pbf.

as soon as mayweather gets hit with one good shot if he trys toe 2 toe, he'll back off and box. baldy is a sucker for boxers

This wont be a huge struggle for mayweather, mayweather wont get hurt or knocked out, but baldy is gonna keep on coming and throwing. He'll take a couple shots to land one. U all see the work Baldy does when he catches his opponent against the ropes. He made judah repeat the chicken dance, and he knocked down arturo gatti with a vicious combination and a ferocious hook. Of coarse, mayweather has a much better defense, but if baldy can get some shots in while mayweather is dancin around the ring and off the ropes like he does, i think he could win rounds, and more then ud expect if a guy as bad as Baldomir can win 4 rounds off Mayweather, then Mayweather deserves to lose his p4p status

i sincerely doubt that floyd will go toe-to-toe with baldomir much if at all. he may, at times, trade punches if he thinks he can come out of the exchange with an advantage. i don't see him as the kind of person that will take a chance and slug with carlos. power punching/slugging is not one of mayweather's strengths.

You guys are kidding yourselves. Floyd can do whatever he wants to any opponent out there. Baldomir is a joke of a champion, and Mayweather is one of the G.O.A.T. This will be so one-sided and so funny to watch.

It doesn't matter, if Mayweather tries to stand and trade and thats not working he will make his adjustments. Like in the Judah fight, when he was getting hit by Judah's jab, he made an adjustment without his corner even telling him by changing his guard to a traditional stance. And that took away Zab's jab, then worked him down.

he did it against gatti at times. if he thinks he can agaisnt baldomir, then he will i guess. I personally think its a bad idea. ur not gonna get a guy like baldy to back down, and ur certainly not gonna hurt him.
