First Lacy gets owned by Joe, Joel Julio gets beat down by Quintana, Miranda doesn't prove to be a force in the MW division, Juarez gets owned 3 times. Boxing is lacking in new dominant blood. Boxers that have been around for a while still hold on to their name and make PPV doing it. I mean Mosley, Oscar, Barrera these guys are making it to PPV even after big losses because their is limited new talent in boxing. Don't get me wrong these guys are good but we need to see new blood with new undefeated fighters facing each other or at least one dominant undefeated fighter. Vargas vs. Mosley, Oscar vs. Mayorga, Barrera vs. Juarez, just to name a few, had recent losses in their record and jump right back to PPV.
rey bautista, paul williams.... i would like to add valero too but he should wait for pac and other elite super fether like mab and morales to retire coz i think he cannot beat them
thats true there is alot of pressure,we just get excited when we see talent like khan has cause its not often a MASSIVE fighter is born from this country
I just don't want to see the kid have his career ended early when there is no need...he has a lot of raw/natural ability that other fighters don't have, so over time, with the proper training he can really become good, if not great...he still has flaws and that can easily be improved with time... if he feels he needs a new trainer to go to the next level, better to do it before you reach the top 10...not saying he can't make an adjustment later since we all saw the improvement Lennox made when he went with Emanuel, but why go through a knockout loss before you change...the longer you wait, the more humble you can be when you finally get the title...Hamed should of been better in my opinion, but he was a bit to out of control.
Amir makes similar mistakes that Hamed makes with his defense, ex: he tends to drop his hands and he doesn't tuck his chin enough...at least from the last time I saw him he didn't...it is about not being hit and if you are, making sure that the punch doesn't land flush...just look how good Bernard Hopkins's defense is, great example what you should do...guys like Ali and Roy are freaks of nature that get away with things you shouldn't be able to get away with, but over time it catches up with you.
If Amir is to see Ali and Floyd, why not see Ray Leonard as well
forgot Duddy fights this weekend w/Yukeno and Julio Cesar Garcia. Dont really know if its televisied
That Andino fight was funny as hell, remember that dude staring him down? Hit the canvas in about 20 secs. you forgot to mention Correa.

amir khannnnnn
I think he should listen to Frank Warren more often and slow up a bit...he still looks like he has some maturing to do, physically...just give him a few more years and if I am right, that he is still growing physically (into a "man"), then he is only going to get stronger, faster, better stamina, and his chin can even improve since your bones continue to thicken into your 20's.
It just seems there is a lot of pressure on him to get to the title "NOW"...not sure if that is true since I don't live in England, but just judging from the outside it does seem that way.
I guess Joan Guzman is a good young prospect, but I don't like his arrogance and the way he tries to show up opponents in the ring. Theres no need for that just fight and leave all that shit at home. Other than that I really like Juan Diaz,Paul Williams, and it remains to be seen how Amir Khan will do.
