has anyone stoped to think that with b hops talking about moving up to the hw divison that we may ...just maybe beable to see a dream fight 15 years in the makeing
benard hopkins! ...VS .... james toney!
at heavyweight!
could you imagein?
the thing with toney is he does best when people are comming at him ...well bhops does best when people are comming at him ..so it'll all boil down to who attacks who and who can get there pace working best for them
If Bernard fights Toney the way James wants it or he fights agressive, I think Bernard may lose. I think if Bernard can outsmart Toney and fight like he did against Taylor(without waiting 8 or 9 rounds to start) I think he could win in a boring fight.
I think Toney beats him at HW, but it would be a great fight.
Not in the typical sense, but its two of the greatest technical boxers of all time.
Great shit.
The difference being of course.. B-Hop would be an in SHAPE heavy weight.. and Toney.. well lets just say.. You dont want to be behind him in the Buffet line.. :D

:boxing: B-Hop at HW. Why?? a good catch weight like the fight they almost had would be somthing to see, but B-hop don't belong up past 200. That, to me wouldn't even be fighting a true Hopkins. It could very easily go Toney's way quickly. Now if Toney could get his fat ass in shape and fight somewhere near light heavyweight again. Hell yeah that could be the fight of the decade. For sure the one of the year it happened
They were suppossed to fight in 04 at a catch weight between cruiserweight and light heavyweight. Those two egos could not agree on money so Toney moved up to heavyweight and fought Holyfield.
