i see QUINTANA exposing COTTO

I see Cotto exposing Quintana.

Cotto is one of my favorite current fighters, but I don't see him beating Quintana. It's pretty stupid to even compare Paulie to Quintana, Paulie can't punch like Quintana. Quintana is very skilled boxer, I will favor him against many top boxers, Quintana can box, can punch and can take a good punch. I think this fight will not happen, Cotto's people will know that they have made a big mistake picking Quintana. If they do fight, I pick Quintana to win by late TKO! Exactly what I was thinking.

Cotto appears beatable because he appears, and is, easy to hit. That will be his downfall. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Quintana is the guy that will do it! Quintana by KO in 7 in a "shocking upset"!

Quintana will expose Cotto but the question is will he win, i think the dide is a good fighter and isnt he southpaw, but the fact is he will do his job but will he will, this is the question and it will be answered soon enough, as of now i say Cotto wins but i may change my mind!

Cotto is also a southpaw he just happens to fight conventional. I think that if he sees himself in trouble he will start fighting southpaw in the later rounds. To close to call in my opinion. I have to see more of Quintana

If you haven't been reading the forums long, the same thing happened with the Klit brothers. The more Klit fans raved about them, the more many hated them. I admit I haven't seen Cotto's fights under 140, but at 140 IMO he is flat footed, but only when he has to come forward. I saw the Abdulaev fight and when he used the ring he looked pretty good. Cotto has always been at 140, and he only started to look "flat footed" when making weight would drain him. Watch his fights with Sosa, Jukko, Ceballos, Bazan etc...he showed good movement and would fight up on his toes well. He definitely wont look like a plodder whatsoever at 147.

No way do I see Cotto getting stopped by Quintana but Quintana can win.

quintana also has a pretty good defense.. he knows how to use that ring.. and he does it well.. he wont be stupid in the fight (rush for a KO), and hell eek out a decision.. if it close i give the edge to cotto because hes more popular if he can hurt cotto, he might be able to finish him.. i dont see that happening.. wens the fight?

Of course, I predicted the same thing with Malignaggi but I do believe Quintana is a better fighter than Malignaggi. Also remember that Paulie didn't fight the fight we thought he would, hope Quintana doesn't do the same thing lol

They same was said about Paulie and you know the outcome. Paulie didnt fight his fight but tired to fight Cottos fight. He wa toe-to-toe but i think he could have easily outboxed him.

This is like Malignaggi all over again with all the predictions that Cotto's going to get outboxed. Cotto by TKO round 9.

I wasn't aware this fight was going to happen, but if its true, props to Cotto for taking this fight. It's high risk/low reward. Quintana has a very legit shot at outboxing cotto for the duration of the fight

You know what Dino, this may be the first time we ever agreed on something. After seeing what Quintana was able to do to Julio, I really believe that Cotto is in for a terrible night against his tricky paizano in December. Cotto is a near carbon copy to Julio, both are flat footed, over patient bangers who are only effective if you stay in their zone. Quintana is a mover, he will slow down the pace and use angles on his toes where Cotto cannot readjust his footwork to get his shots off. I really see this being the same thing really. Of course, I predicted the same thing with Malignaggi but I do believe Quintana is a better fighter than Malignaggi. If Quintana can do what he did to Julio, Cotto is in huge trouble because this guy isn't Malignaggi.
