The only way I see Baldomir winning is if Mayweather beats himself by not being prepared or not taking Baldomir seriously(which is very unlikely), other then that I see Floyd beating Baldomir 10/10

If mayweather looses to Baldomir or Margarito what will that do to his legacy when he retires. Two guys that are pretty good but far from being greats or legends. What will people think? Will people say he was 2 time champ and a 2 time paper champ or would they still have him as a an all time great. PBF wont be forgotten, but if he's beaten he should accept his loss, or get out the ring with his tail between his legs and hide his head in the sand. :cool:

he wouldnt be "forgotten" at all. he'll definetly make the HOF because he is certainly talented enough. If he loses to either, i doubt he could be considered a GOAT, but if still got fights with mosley and DLH and won, he would definetly be in the hall if he lost 2 margarito tho i would rather forget him

I think he would still be remembered as one of the greats of this generation, but people would just think he went up a division too high for him. If he lost to Baldomir or Margarito, he would lose to their size, not their skill... :no: In other words if he loses you will not give Baldomir any credit.

I think it is all bullshit to say that it will destroy Floyd's legacy. Funny how some "greats" can stay at one weight and not take the risk that Floyd is taking, yet if Floyd loses, he will be the "forgotten" :rolleyes: Floyd is taking a big risk fighting Baldy, and if and when he does fight Margarito, the same if not more danger. Floyd could of gone back down to 140 like Hatton, but he didn't. He could of stayed at 140 for the rest of his career like Kostya Tszyu and Pryor, but he didn't. If he lost to Baldomir or Margarito, he would lose to their size, not their skill... Both of these fighters are being praised as tough opponents ONLY based on this, Margarito will never be on mayweathers level, ever, not in any lifetime, but his size and strength pose a problem, same with baldomir. Guys like Margarito striving to fight guys he knows are smaller than him is why boxing needs same day weigh ins.
