Wait a sec.. who was the dumbass who even brought this question up? This is probably one of the easiest questions I've ever had to answer.. MAYWEATHER of course!!
Now don't get me wrong, I live Tito I think he's one of the greats, hell I'm Puertorican for Gods sake. However, a fight vs Mayweather would be a worse beating than Winky gave him or Hopkins gave him. Its a known fact that Tito cannot face boxers. He can't beat them. Much less the BEST boxer in the world.. not gonna happen no matter what weight class. I still love Tito though and a final bout with De la hoya would be cool.
Tito in his prime at 147 would not lose to maywhether. Earlier in his career tito wasn't left hook crazy & had better boxing fundamentals. I give tito the win anyday.
Tito KO. compared to hop,dlh and winky, Pbf is a little man with short arms. pbf is ganna have to get close to land something and at welter tito had fast enough hands to catch pbf, stagger him then go for the ko.
hopkins, DLH, and winky have shown that if you have a jab and can move a little, you can make an ass of tito. and mayweather's bread and butter is his speed.
i doubt tito would even be able to touch him.
People!! You are talking about a Trinidad who is well past his time. He is in his thirties, retired and really doesn't want it anymore. If he did he would've put more of an effort against Winky. Everybody knows he did not take that fight seriously, Now when he fought Mayorga was a different story, as Mayorga always brings the best out of anyone he fights.
Everybody knows tito didn't take the winky fight seriously? may i ask how come? lol that's an excuse. Winky style would make any 1 demensional fighter look like a fool. Tito did look great against a very small and way out of shape mayorga with no defense of course.
I could see Floyd outboxing him, but I could also see Tito knocking Floyds head off his hombros con la izquierda.
You gonna have to stop with that puerto rican ass language.
Hmmmm, am i in the wrong place?
Trinidad was a dogg at welterweight and Light Middleweight.
If Floyd was to fight him at light middleweight then I would give it to Trinidad.
I believe I started this conversation on Rocky Marciano, not other Rockys, that wat the original ROCKY~!UNDEFEATED 51-0!
Floyd has the biggest nuthugging fans EVER...
Dawg, seriously, get off that shit already its getting old. I hate Mayweather I hope he gets his ass whooped. But I'm also not stupid enough to say Tito is gonna be the one to beat him. Put someone in there more suited to beat him like De La Hoya or somethin. Just b/c I don't like the guy doesn't mean I'm not going to acknowledge his prowess in the ring.
Says the man who has Big Pun in his avatar, including myself, there have been 2 puerto ricans awknowledging that Tito couldnt beat Mayweather. Its just an opinion, get over it.
"In the hot tub, poppin' bubbily..."
Floyd.
I wouldn't count the Winky fight to much: Tito didn't seem all that powerfull when he came back to fight Mayorga...yeah, he knocked him out, but something was missing...maybe it was part balance or maybe Tito just lost a bit of pop from sitting on his ass.
Floyd is NOT Winky...Winky is bigger...Floyd also got stunned by Corley, imagine if that was Tito...Floyd is also not Oscar: Oscar is naturally a bigger person, plus that head of his is huge compared to Floyd...Oscar was also able to stop Tito in his track because of his power, something Floyd can't equal with Oscar.
I don't know who wins prime vs prime, but Floyd better not get hit...I also think the left hook is a great punch to hit or at least setup with to hurt Floyd...that's why I thought a prime Kostya Tszyu would give him fits...Kostya's quick left hook (that looks like Wlad's), usually stuns you (when it is 100%, though not always has to be), and then he follows with the straight right hand down the middle.
I think Floyd's becoming a little to "Legendary"...just because he claims he is the "Greatest" (which is a rip off of Ali), doesn't mean he is...I am all for fighters claiming and feeling they are the greatest to boost their confidence, but please don't let it fog up your mind.
I think alot of people are considering the weight though, if at 147 I personally favor floyd, at any other weight, i think that the advantage goes to trinidad. I dont think people are buying into the "floyd hype" as much as performences against outstanding boxers tell the story, hopkins/de la hoya is the blueprint for my answer, although they were both bigger than floyd, I SAID, if floyd didint take chances, he would be fine at 147, its not far fetched to think that.

I got mad respect for both fighters, but if this fight was ever gonna happen, I think weight class would determine the outcome of the fight. PBF is one of the greatest athletes to ever put on gloves, but, I think 154 and 160 boys are just too big for him. I think Kadyo is right, somewhere along the line Tito lost his hunger, and he paid the price big time. If Tito was gonna fight the #1 p4p fighter in the world, I bet he would work a little harder, and again there's the weight advantage, that wasn't a factor against Winky but different story against PBF. Still, hard to call.
