actually if you think about it..eventhough he had alot of knockouts and people were intriged about his life outside the ring..mike tyson really didnt beat anybody ..his best win was probably a old larry holmes..or maybe trevor berbick..lennox lewis riddick bowe holyfield would have beat him at any point in his career...michael moorer vs tyson would have been a good fight in the early 90s
spinks...it showed what mikes full capabilitys
IMO it didnt show Tyson at his best AT ALL.
Spinks hadnt fought for a year before Tyson, and spent his whole career at Lightheavy.
Tyson steamrolled Spinks and we didnt get to see Tyson adapt and outbox a bigger opponent.
I prefer to watch Tyson fight for a few rounds. I like the Jose Ribalta fight, in which Tyson didnt give up, and pressured him for 10 rounds before stopping him.
The same with Mitch Green and Tucker (although Tucker hurt his right hand early on).
But for me Tyson fought at his best against Biggs and Holmes. He stayed sharp and disiplined, used his jab, and countered brilliantly.
Also Tyson - Ruddock 1. Tyson was forced to fight back against a confident big heavyweight.
The Spinks win was the most important in terms of impact at the time, even though I'm curious how many people thought Spinks had a serious chance at winning rather than an outside shot.
But I think the most memorable was the Berbick, that knockout still comes in conversation, especially with people who don't follow boxing closely.
knocking berbick out probably

For me, Tyson's best win was Berbick. I don't think I have ever seen a challenger take the heavyweight title as forcefully and as confidently as Tyson did against Berbick. Tyson just went in there and decimated Trevor.
I would have to agree with this.
Mitch Green. Just for that classic moment after where he came on the tele and spoke about Mike battering him in a night club after the fight and his whole face looks a mess.
Absolute fucking comic gold.
the best fights he won were with tucker and ruddock although they both showed off his opponents abilitys more than his own.
his win over lou savarese was impressivebecause lou stood tow to tow with george foreman for 10 rounds and was knocked out in 1 punch by tyson!
