Are you philippino? Yes i am. Back in the 80's when i was still living in Philippines, if there was a boxing fight on tv, its always at 10 pm or later . I tried to stay up that late but ended up sleeping. I was around 10-12 years old. One boxer i remember is Rolando Navarette. Came to the US in 1987, i started watching boxng again around 89-90. As i posted before in another thread CBS(channel 2) and KCAL here in Los Angeles used to broadcast boxing. I don't remember the details of the fight but the Michael Carbajal-Chiquita Gonzales was a battle. Channel 2 even showed the pre-fight shows for PPV that involves Tyson, Terry Norris, and Holyfield. Well, the day Pinoys are gonna stop watching boxing is when Pacquiao retires.. Who the fuck are they gonna root for?
