Who are your favorite fighters and why

Ronald Winky Wright- You can't find a better technician than winky. He knows how to box and he knows the style to beat all opponents. He is very defensive but he has plenty of offense which is an amazing skill of itself. It is hard to find a boxer that does both O and D and Winky is the only one I know of. He is confident and calm in the ring and shoes awesome ring generalship. I can't think of a better BOXER.

Nigel Benn - most exciting fighter that breathed air, nothing quite like a Benn fight Mike Tyson - my hero in the mid-80's, and I'm one of few who understands him James Toney - always loved his attitude, not to mention ability Ricky Hatton - genuine, and most exciting fighter since Nigel Benn

My 2 all time favorites are: 1.Sugar Ray Robinson--Plain and simple, the best ever. I love watching his old fights. Fought the best of his era and beat them all. 2.Bernard Hopkins--Didn`t always have the exciting fights but was the best at 160 since Hagler. Plus he destroyed Tarver, who I despise. Current favorites are 1. Eric Morales--Love his heart and fearlessness. True Warrior 2. Arturo Gatti--Same as El Terrrible. Plus he`s Canadian. 3.Cory Spinks--Like his slick southpaw style. Plus, even after all he`s done he doesn`t get respect like he should. I think he`s under rated 4.Oscar DeLaHoya--He`s one of the few good things about the sport, as far as the public is concerned. Plus he`s a great fighter. Boxing needs the golden boy more than he needs boxing. 5.Jermain Taylor--Seems to have a lot of class and is willing to fight anyone. Plus he`s only gonna get better.

Yea Morales is good. I hope he knocks Pacman out. I predict in the 9-11 round.

MORALES hands down favorite fighter of all time lately with workin so much and yada yadaa id found myself driftin from the sport so i needed a quick fix a pick me up somethin to shoot boxing right back into me so i rewatched Pac-Morales 2 wow whata fight just watchin morales move the way he punches the way he reacts his love for fighten his will determination stubborness he was determined to prove pac couldnt hurt him even tho he obviously could i love that about him reminds me of me all throw it all away just to prove a point even if i know im wrong im committed to the end but back to the topic hes a fukin bad ass started watchin some of his old clips too man hes truely everything u could want in a fighter

Learn the proper way to score fights. If youre going to reply with some stupid ass comment and an issue you just can't let go, then don't reply at all because you make yourself look stupid. Anyways I squashed the issue between myself already. I am not going to argue with little kids like you anymore. Some more, The Marquez brothers for their skillz and ferociousness and Bernard Hopkins for his skills and the only person ever to knock out Felix Trinidad.

Jermain Taylor: Class act, wants to fight the best. (Honrable mentions Jeff Lacy, Ivan Calderon, Luiz Collazo) Of All Time: Ali: speaks for itself. ODLH: Took on anyone, one of the classiest guys in the business. Roy Jones Jr: Incredible, Incredible skills in his prime. Mickey Ward: Never close to being a top fighter, but the man has more heart then ive ever seen in a fighter, and has been in many classic battles. Pernell Whitaker: Need to see more of him, but his mastery of the sweet science is something to behold. Marvin Hagler: Greatest Middleweight of all time imo. (Honarable mentions: Marciano, Foreman)

Ok I know I know, I've started like four threads today but I like to see what people think about different things, and I know this thread has probably been created thousands of times before but.... Who is/are your favorite fighters and why? Mine, in no order DLH for giving a good name to Mexicans, and destroying Mayorga Vargas for showing the true heart of a real fighter by taking on anyone Trinidad for destroying everybody, and his stamina, he looks energetic from the opening - closing round Jose Luis Castillo for his war against Corrales and KO the second time, not to mention BEATING Mayweather Arturo Gatti for his heart and all the wars in his carrers Mike Tyson for putting everybody to sleep Ali for his intelligence Barrera for his wars and fearlessness Marciano for his incredible carrer Julio Cesar Chavez for showing that Mexicans are true fighters James J. These are my current active, favorite fighters... Martin Castillo- My pops manages him and he's very good. He can outbox you and out brawl you. He makes exciting fights and is a great person. Israel Vazquez-My pops manages him and I think he's very good. He makes exciting fights and seems to be improving in each fight.. He's gotten alot better over the years, especially since working with Freddy Roach. He's also a great person! I've seen both, (Castillo and Vazquez) move up in the rankings and eventually become world champions. I've seen them lose some and seen them win alot more....I've seen up close how hard they work and the dedication they both have. I've seen the sacrafices they have made....I'm on their side no matter what, win or lose! I consider them close friends. :) I also like Mayweather Margarito Morales Barrera Pacquaio Oscar De La Hoya Jorge Arce Juan Diaz
